Mobile movies are a special kind of cinema in that they are free and shared by specific members of a community. Before seeing one ensure you are familiar with the purpose of organizers who are presenting the movie. This would help you assess whether your values or beliefs won’t be compromised. For instance, there are some films that are specifically made for particular religious groups and if you don’t belong to them it is advisable not to attend the show. Nowadays, there are portable cinemas meant for either Christians or Muslims but not both of them.
Much more, the cinema venue is usually crowded and you need to be very alert lest someone steals any of your possessions. Remember that even though the film may be aired in your neighborhood you certainly can’t know the characters of all the people in that region. And don’t come with expensive ornaments or attires to such a function because you may be robbed. Unlike actual cinemas, the level of security in mobile movies is quite minimal mainly because the organizers assume that most people know each other and therefore there’s no need for thorough security. But what they forget is that any stranger may walk into the venue; and since no frisking is done, one may not know what this person is carrying.
To be on the safer side don’t visit such a venue alone but accompany a few friends or relatives.
Carrying on, there’s need to carry an umbrella with you especially if the film is being aired in open-air. Even if it is in the dry season never assume that it shall not rain because weather patterns are sporadic in nature. If there’s a single gate entry to the main venue avoid coming to the venue late.
Since most of the films are aired at night people may behave rowdily and begin shoving around leading to a stampede, many people have lost their lives as a result of unprecedented stampedes at venues like this.
It is also recommendable to have a jacket on because it may get cold as the night progresses. Mobile movies are not as common in developed countries as they are in the developing world. This is because in US and other modern societies the masses are quite busy due to their modern lifestyle and have very little time to watch such films. In these advanced nations a good majority of citizens work for at least 18hrs in a day.
