Ordered on a Monday afternoon, chose next day delivery and received it at 11am the next day allowing me to track the order to a 1 hour time slot.
Happy with my cooker hood as it was the cheapest I could find online.
After ordering a cooker hood on the 14th February I discovered it was not in stock after waiting a month for delivery. I demanded a refund which then took over a month to come through. I phoned countless times and was just passed from pillar to post.
In their own terms conditions they state that they don't take payment for 'out of stock' goods but they DID!
The price was competitive but the customer service was TERRIBLE and arrogant. If you order from these clowns check the item is in stock before paying!
What an amazing company! From start to finish they were there to help make my buying process as easy as possible.
I pretty much knew what I needed so I viewed the site for a few suggestions but seeing as it was built-in appliance I was looking for and it's been a while since I had my kitchen first done I needed to get some extra advice. I rung them up, slightly hesitant if they would even be able to help as they don't know my kitchen, but after speaking to them on the phone they were able to offer excellent advice. They were able to advise me on which product was the best one out of a few I had chosen, when they would recieve it if I ordered it that day and an ETA for delivery. I felt confident with what was chosen, so decided to order then and there on the phone. They told me they would ring me back on the Monday when it's due in to book delivery which they did and I had my new Double Oven 2 days later. Fantastic service, would definately reccomend them to any friend looking for a new kitchen appliance.
I order most things online now but have never received better service from a company yet.
Im quite fussy when it comes to my house looking mordern and know what sort of things I wanted in my kitchen but they were very difficult to find. I spent alot of time on the phone talking to the very helpful and knowledgeable sales staff who new exactly what I wanted and gave me more than one option for each appliance I needed. By the time I finally decided what I had wanted I had almost left it a bit too late for the installation of my kitchen only having 7 days left and two of these being the weekend. It was a large order nearly £5000 of my hard earned money, but the guy I spoke to on the phone assured me he had checked stock and not to worry. He said he would phone me on the monday once everyhing had come in. Rest assured monday morning I got a call, not from a gentlemen but a young lady who again was very polite and helpful even asking if I had any specific delivery instruction I would like to pass on to the delivery company.
My kitchen was due to be installed friday morning and rest assured all my appliances were delivered thursday as requested and was very happy with the courier who delivered. They kept my update with timings before hand and the two man team who delivered my appliances brought them in to the hall way as requested, unboxed them as requested and allowed me to check them over.
My orginal kitchen was somewhere I didnt like to be. It was dated and tatty. Appliance planet have helped to make my house a home and kitchen which is just a joy to be in.
I would definitely use them again and again and I will always recommend them to my friends.
1st class service
I ordered over £1000 worth of appliances from Appliance Planet on the 9th of January. The website told me that the security checks had failed on my postcode check, I checked the postcode and it was right. I phone appliance planet and they processed the order over the phone and it failed with the same error. When they tried a third time it went through but was declined by the bank. I phoned my credit card company who informed me that it had been authorised each time and my card was now at it's limit.
I contacted Appliance Planet, and was told not to worry, they didn't have my money, it would be back in my account "in a couple of days". In the meantime they would order the appliances so that they could be delivered without delay after the payment errors were corrected. A week later, the money finally arrived back in my account> I spoke to them about re-paying and asked when my appliances would arrive. Nothing had been ordered! It was now going to be a further delay of a week and a half. I cancelled two out of the three appliances, and only ordered the hob which they had in stock and could be delivered the next day in time for the rest of the kitchen arriving.
I stayed at home for the day waiting for the hob, and nothing turned up. With no tracking number provided, I again phoned them. I obtained the tracking number and several phone calls later had got hold of the delivering depot, which informed me that the address on the package was incomplete, so they had no idea where to deliver it to. I had to re-arrange delivery and stay at home for another day to wait for it.
At this point thinking nothing more could go wrong, I started to relax. When the hob finally arrived the fixing screws for it were loose inside the box, and several of them had managed to get inside the hob itself. After half an hour of shaking the hob, I managed to shake out all the screws. I called Appliance Planet to inform them of what had happened, and ask them to log it so if there was a problem it was clear it was there before the item was installed. I eventually got a call back from a manager, who promised email confirmation that they were aware of the problem and a £15 refund for the issues I had experienced. Neither have arrived
I had accepted that this was probably a one off and I wouldn't post the experience on the internet, but the lack of follow up and broken promised has lead me to believe that what I have been told all the way through dealing with them that everything they have been telling me are just lies, hoping that I will forget about it all.
So to summarise, they maxed out my credit card for a week, assured me that there would be no delay on the delivery, didn't return called when they should have, addressed a package so it couldn't be delivered and then didn't follow up on emails or a refund.
If you are planning to buy appliances use the coop appliances website or John Lewis, the prices were virtually identical, and they were a pleasure to deal with.
Update 7/3/2013, They have also passed on my email address to one of their partner companies Glotech Kitchens who are now sending me spam email.

Bought a Fagor induction hob and ovens off them at £1000 plus but when we used the hob for the first time with new purposely bought pans it scratched it, we contacted them for some advice but they never got back to us to discuss it then they ignored us completely. These are cowboys, once they have your money they are not interested, deal with them at your own risk.
Ok, so I called Appliance Planet on the 2nd January, and they assured me that would be getting the stock in by Monday (two days ago), so I call them AGAIN today (Wednesday) to ask AGAIN when the fridge freezer will be delivered. We cannot store anything: no milk for cereals; long-life milk is fine but not nice warm, no butter, no juice, no eggs, no vegetables (they just go off within a couple of days!), no meat. Cannot store food. Get it?
So I call again today and say "you said it would be delivered to you on Monday, when will it be delivered to me"? And you say "oh, we are still awaiting delivery". And I'm like WHAT? And you say "hold on - I'll just call the manufacturer". Then they give my mum a call (I requested you change the number on the 2nd when I spoke to you). It turns out there is a manufacturing problem and it won't be delivered until the 26th January!!!
Now, what on earth prevented you from finding that out earlier instead of fobbing me off with excuses? We had a van hired - we could have just gone and bought one instead of suffering for almost a month now without being able to store food. The reason we didn't was because I had bought one from you already.
I am so incredibly unhappy and angry you would not believe.
I have now cancelled my order, and have bought a better, similar model for less money from somewhere else.
And there is no button that I can see (and I have looked!) that tells me that there is a week delay over the Christmas period. I did look very hard when I ordered the fridge/freezer from you.
i am so happy i contacted appliance planet after another company delayed my order for 2 or 3 weeks on a thursday morning. My plumber and electrician were booked for the tuesday morning the next week!!! Brilliant Appliance Planet had my item in stock and the order was placed very quickly over the phone assuring me delivery will take no longer than 2 days. As promised i received my package on the saturday morning reassured that all could be installed on the planned tuesday.

Good company to deal with and offered required product at best price. Delivery date was given and happened on time. However, box wasn’t sealed and items had become lose and slightly damaged – registered this with delivery driver. Only luck that items hadn’t been lost or damaged beyond repair.
My wife and I have just had a new kitchen fitted and needed 5 new appliances: dishwasher, tall larder fridge, tall freezer (all integrated) and two built under double ovens -about £1,800 worth of kit, so we wanted to shop around. We found out who was cheapest but, before ordering we checked some review sites. We soon realised that some suppliers, including high street names, had a terrible reputation. Some didn't deliver on time or even at all(!), some were ok until the appliances were damaged/faulty and then replacement was a hassle.
We decided that Appliance Planet had received good reviews, even if the goods needed replacing and so we ordered through them. They weren't the cheapest -maybe £15-20 more per appliance than the cheapest, but we didn't trust some of the cheapest ones.
Once you've created your shopping basket, give them a call and quote the basket number and they'll give you a multiple item discount code -ours was £54, easily bringing them back into the "cheapest" category. Total delivery was only £20 for everything.
Very helpful bloke on the phone indicated that everything should be available the following week, in time for our fitters to install at the weekend. You can track your order status online with AP so we were worried when the appliances were still shown as "on order" the night before the fitters were to come. Called AP -got through no problem -they said that their supplier didn't have them in stock. They called me back as promised with a revised delivery date for the first three items and the fitters agreed to come back later to fit these.
First delivery exactly as agreed -time slot supplied and driver called to say en-route. AP say that you have to unwrap and inspect the appliances before signing for them, so the driver and his mate stand around and wait for you to scrutinise every inch of your lovely new appliances.
Ovens had to come by second delivery which was same as first one -pretty painless.
It was a major hassle that the initial stock and delivery timings were wrong, but we had left it to the last minute to order. I didn't think that the guy we first spoke to was spoofing me to get the order, just giving an estimate which turned out to be wrong. They stuck to their appointments anyway and subsequent phone calls were very satisfactory.
I'll deal with them again and don't hesitate to recommend them.

When ordering my appliance for my new kitchen - an integrated cooker hood - I enquired if the item could be delivered within ten days. I was told that delivery on this item was normally 7-10 working days from ordering. I ordered the item and it was delivered after seven days and the price was matched to beat all competitors. Well done AP.
I searched the net for a suitable provider of extractor ducting kits and found Appliance Planet to be both helpful and efficient with their advice.
They sourced the correct product for my canopy extractor hood and I am delighted with my purchase. I was kept updated with the delivery which was most helpful as I can then ensure that I was at home to take the delivery, which arrived as promised.

I searched high and low for a 50cm cooker hood that was aesthetically pleasing to find only this retailor offering such an item at a reasonable cost.
I rung them first of all before placing the order and the customer staff were very friendly and helpful in my decision making process. They told me what I needed and what I didn't need proving they were not just out to make a quick profit but cared about me as a customer.
I placed the order a couple of days later for a Baumatic 50cm Stainless Steel cooker hood online - Bearing in mind the size of the item their postage and packaging charges were also very reasonable!.
Unfortunately they didn't have the item in stock but sent me an email very quickly advising me so and to give them a call on how to proceed with the order (this was all without taking the money out of my account, unlike some companies who take the money, check stock, then take days if not weeks to refund it back you). The customer service rep explained there was a delay on the supplier side (being very precise with her explanation - i.e. stock was stuck in Italy awaiting customs lol!).
I recieved the item in perfect order a couple of weeks later exactly as was promised. I'm very impressed at the level of service I got, and also with the product itself as to be honest it only cost me £170 and the nearest thing I could find that was similar was double the cost!!.

After researching various cooker extractors i opted to purchase the Baumatic F90 on looking into various retailers that offered the genuine Carbon Filters it was obvious that on speed of delivery,product cost and customer satisfaction Appliance planet could not be beat.Just as others mentioned the delivery was rapid,customer service was great and the item was exactly as described.Appliance planet will remain my first port of call for all appliance related purchases.Thanx for the smooth transaction
Putting time and effort into picking the right product and supplier will always pay off in the end. We purchased our new dishwasher from appliance planet after reading great reviews on both the appliance and the supplier’s website. The dishwasher was rated the best integrated dishwasher on Which? and was fantastic value for money at the £400 mark. I initially went to the website for price, but it was the customer service and ease of use purchase that sealed it for me. Once I was on the website, the range of products nearly got me to change my mind but I stuck with my original choice.
The website was clear and very simple to use. The search functionality on the website was intuitive and most importantly the prices were incredibly competitive. The customer service over the phone was fantastic, my call was quickly answered and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the product – able to answer questions on spec and discuss delivery logistics with authority – and in fact I finally placed the order over the phone. There was no upselling or extended warranty annoyingness of calling Currys - or another online retailer who called me back after a purchase to ask me if I wanted a longer guarantee - just clear impartial advice.
The delivery process was efficient and reliable – they would even do a free Saturday delivery if we needed; they called me to confirm delivery dates and were very flexible. I chose delivery for a date quite a long time in advance and they were able to assist. I received a text message reminding me of the order arrival and the delivery guys were really helpful and very accommodating on quite a tough delivery.
The dishwasher, Siemens SN65M031GB, itself is brilliant. The kitchen fitters were able to install it quickly and easily. The machine takes a large load for it size. The clean is fantastic every time, even dried on cereal comes off. We adjusted the top racks for our big plates which was thankfully easy to do – our last machine didn’t have that functionality. Oddly it doesn’t dry our Tupperware very well – but this is my only complaint to date!
To sum up I would thoroughly recommend the website and will be buying any appliances through them in future. Thanks guys!
I ordered all my new Neff kitchen appliances from Appliance Planet recently, 2 ovens and various accessories, hob, cooker hood, microwave etc.
They were very helpful when I was making my purchase and said that the items were usually delivered within two weeks as they came as a special order from the manufacturer. (This I expected as I was quite specific as to what I wanted!)
I was totally amazed that they contacted me and told me my items would be delivered the following Tuesday, only 5 days later!
The delivery crew were on time and were great they put everything where I wanted it to go, opened every package to I could inspect all the items before they asked me to sign for the delivery. They even offered to take all of the packaging away for me!

It's the first time we had used Appliance Planet and we went to them because in an internet search, they were the most competively priced for the Neff and Seimens equipment we were looking for for our new kitchen installation. Because they were the least expensive, we were not expecting top class service but we were pleasantly surprised - the sales person we dealt with was most friendly and helpful and the equipment was delivered on time and in top condition - couldn't have wishwed for better and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!
The delivery and service exceeded the promised five days with my order of a ceramic bob arriving the day after I'd ordered it.
A week after receiving the order I had it installed and it was only then that I realised there was a small scratch on the surface of the hob and that part of the metal casing below the hob was bent.
As I'd have had to pay extra for a return visit if I'd waited for a replacement I had the hob installed without advising the suppliers. My old hob had already been removed. I can't say how they would have dealt with my query as I didn't contact them. I've deducted a point for the damage to the appliance.
After looking around for a spin dryer for my mother, as a gift, I could not find the brand I wanted, and when I did it was too expensive, when I got to the Appliance Planet site, they gave me the cheapest rate and had beaten all companies on-line for the same brand, that I looked at, it was mind blowing to know, how one item can differ so much on all websites.
I spoke to my mother, if she was happy with the make and what it has and placed the order for her, on-line, it was very simple to use the system in order to purchase the product and the delivery was within 2 working days.
However, as I was unable to track the product, I called Appliance Planet and I got a friendly reception on the other side, who was very helpful in telling me when the product will be delivered and it just arrived as said.
The product was well packed, and there was no marks on it, and the delivery man was polite, as they should be. After opening it, we started using it, and it works wonderfully. I would recommend Appliance Planet to everyone, so that they get the best deal with the products they want, without getting ripped off, like so many people do.

After deciding on the fridge/freezer we wanted, we then found appliance plant had the best price. The support from the call centre staff in placing the order was excellent and the gentleman I spoke to was friendly, helpful and very pleasant.
The delivery team were also really nice, delivering into the kitchen and fully unpacking the fridge/freezer. I was then asked to inspect before signing, which is nice as sometimes you forget your supposed to do that.

we spend the winter in Potugal and in our appartment there was a Fagor combi oven in which we produced some memorable meals and I decided to replace our ancient model at home.Appliance Planet were the cheapest by far and were very helpful when it came to details on sizing and even conversed with Fagor to get details.(price from Fagor direct was much more than AP) The ordering and delivery process was childs play and the oven fits like a glove and I never need to use main oven as my Fagor does it all.Appliance Planet, you have made this old Granny a happy bunny. I did a lot of research on the internet for a new freestanding fridge freezer and decided on a particular brand and model. Appliance Planet offered the cheapest price by a long way, so I decided to purchase from them.
Their ordering procedure was simple and customer sales service was very good, they contacted me over the telephone and arranged a date and time slot and this was achieved. Their delivery service was also very good and my fridge freezer was positioned in the required location.

Our old dishwasher started leaking and so was time to replace. Did usual research and found that ApplicancePlanet appeared to offer a good range. When I spotted they also had a deal on a Neff model I thought great. I performed my own price comparison and sure enough it was a genuine saving. Order placed. A few days passed and then we had a call from helpful lady to arrange date. And they could do Saturday deliery no problem / no extra charge. Great again. Dishwasher arrived on the date promised, delivery guys unpacked and took rubbish away - nice touch! Fitted now and working perfectly. A great product to boot - happy families again!
