Without a question or shadow of doubt the best place to go for all your computer needs, from the active forum community to the second to none buying experience.
Just received my latest order - a nice new 23" monitor.
It was a great price, but when delivery was added it worked out more expensive than a competitor. When I informed Aria of this, within 30 minutes the item reappeared with free delivery!! Awesome :D
Item arrived next day via DPD with their oh-so-useful one hour time slot.
Perfect order.
However, as can be seen in other reviews, and experienced personally on one previous order, Aria's communication skills can occasionally be sorely lacking. If you catch them on a quiet day, they're probably one of the best companies in the business - but if you catch them on a busy day, prepare to chase, chase, and chase again.
If Aria read this, please just improve the customer communication side of things (reply to e-mails, return phone calls) and I'd recommend you to all and sundry :)
I have used Aria several times and have always found them to be on top of their game in terms of price, quality of goods and efficiency.
There are many payment options to suit everyone such as Paypal, Amazon payments, Google checkout and Credit/Debit cards.
I've never had a problem with delivery or any of the products I have purchased, and I intend to continue using Aria for future computer components.
Dude, this is the place to for your PC bits, always have something good on offer, really quick processing, and decent delivery options, I've had a decent amount of stuff from these guys over the last few years, and only ever had one problem, which was sorted in like a couple of emails.
top guys
I'm always looking around for a good deal and since finding Aria when I was looking to upgrade my system and comparing them to other sites I couldn't find cheaper, and with the specials they do I got lucky they were doing my motherboard and CPU so £500 for a first order and since then I got everything to build a mate a new pc and a couple of cases, mostly all arrived next day.
I also like the courier they use DPD who give you a 1 hour time slot which means I don't get my 3 year old pestering to go out take him to the park with out the worry of missing my parcel :)
When ever I'm quoting a build for friends or just having a conversation about computers, I always refer them to Aria Technology's.
I've found that the help the staff offer when ordering parts to be 2nd to non. Always informative and great at building computers. The discussion board has helped with countless issues I've come across and the many competitions has always drawn new members to the community.
with Events that are organised and daily deals i can't imagine when anyone would have anything bad to say against Aria Technology.
I have not been using Aria for that long probably 4-5 months now in that time I have spent around £1k and have had 0 issues, I mean nothing. They even ordered in a part they do not stock and shipped it pretty much within 24 hours, the only grip I did have with Aria is they used citylink who are shocking from previous experiences until they recently switched to DPD who have been awesome. Since using Aria I have and always will recommend this company to my friends, family and acquaintances. George good job!
I have used Aria for many years (I live locally) only had a few small problems which was rectified quickly so, when my PC gave up the ghost I had no problems what so ever in ordering an over-clocked i5 bundle. This arrived the next day and was even better than the high expectations I had for it. I would whole heartedly recommend Aria to anyone :)
I ordered a Creative Sound blaster z and after a week it started to throw out all sound muffled, so I phoned for a return number. Once it arrived I sent off the card , and had a refund on my card within 2 days after they received the card.
When reviewing a company as good as aria, its hard to think of things to write down and not sound like a 5 year old trying to convince his mummy that this new toy is amazing!, and that i have to have it now!
Aria PC has always been a delight to shop with, when shopping on-line for "more upgrades" they are always my first port of call.
I suppose you want to know why i say this?
First of all, Customer service means the most to me! And Aria certainly aren't lacking in this department!
When phoning to place an order or just querying stock, the staff at aria are always extremely polite and helpful also in the rare case something does goes wrong, the staff do not hesitate to go out there way to resolve your issues.
Secondly, A good product selection!
Aria have satisfied my geek side every time with excellent product ranges from ssd's to computer fans, they always have what i want! and its usually in stock too!
Thirdly, price of components.
With aria i would be more than happy to pay slightly more for my hardware as the customer service is excellent, but having to pay more to get more isn't the case here, there prices are the cheapest around and with the excellent customer service there really is no other option but to shop there!
Forth, the layout of the website!.
I know some people wouldn't think that the design of a website would be that important, right? well to me it matters, I don't like having to trawl through pages and pages just to find what i want, or using stupid drop down menus that lead you to new drop down menus and so on. With aria.co.uk, its easy to find what you want whether you want to just be a geek and drool over the shiny hardware or actually buy something, you're only usually 2 clicks away by using there nifty side bar and super quick checkout system!
Fifth, where would you be without super fast delivery of your new shiny hardware/accessories!
This is a massive strong point with aria, using excellent delivery firms to get your goods to your front door in the best time and condition!
And last but not last, the aria forums! what a great community, helping each other out with computer related problems, or advice on your next upgrade, not to forget the customer care section for retail related problems!
These are the reasons i have scored aria 5 stars: perfect!
If you're looking for good quality customer service, cheap prices, fast delivery and an easy to use website, take my advice and shop at aria.co.uk,
You wont be disappointed!
Used Aria many times now for the purchase of various PC components, peripherals and accessories ranging from inexpensive £10-20 items to those £100+ in value.
Most of my orders have went by without problems on Aria's side though i have had 2 where items were damaged. I was able though to fill out an RMA request, ship items back and get credit/replacement items within a very reasonable time frame. Also i've never had any problems with delivery via city link in my area but it's nice to see they switched to using DPD due to many problems elsewhere and on that front items have arrived to me as and when i expected from DPD and in good packaging.
The only negative i have is that there are some area's where they don't always stock as big as range of products as i'd hope for but having said that they have been expanding some lines and right now most area's have a good choice.
Overall i'd highly rate Aria based on my experiences with them. Of course getting damaged items is never great but on the flipside it's nice to know that the returns process is pain free a pretty quick so should it happen again in future i won't have to worry .
having dealt with aria for many years i've had a few ups and downs but over all i can't complain about the company, i've seen alot worse over the years, if i've had any problems with goods there quick to resolve the problem, and always happy to help, same goes for the prices depending on the item there pretty good
After buying a hard drive and receiving a dead unit i`m now being told I have to wait ten days for the unit to be tested when I was told it would be three days.
Worst service I have ever experienced. The staff have a don`t give a f*** attitude, never return E-mails and are generally un-helpfull . I will never be using Aria again, Disgusted !!!
Ordered a graphics card from aria. Item arrived in good time and as stated on the site. After two days testing, found the item to be faulty. Tried in a different PC and still had same issue. No problem! RMA it back and get a new one........ No such luck.......
Firstly tried to raise an RMA on the site but it could not find my order. Not too big of a problem, RMA site states to contact customer services if there are any problems. So sent an email to customer services, then another...... and another. Eight days later received one back asking what the problem was. Sent reply telling them the problem I was having. Four days later and another email finally got an RMA number (yay! Or at least I thought). So returned item (tracked). Waited.... and waited.... Three weeks later sent them an email asking for an update on my items progress as I hadn't heard anything. Waited... Two weeks later, three emails and two VERY unhelpful calls later (with promises of calls back) Still nothing. So waited another week and then raised a dispute with Papal (As the 45 days limit was starting to creep up). Next day received an email saying my item was in a queue waiting to be tested! Replied stating that due to all the problems I had now purchased another and would just like a refund. Two days later received an email saying my item had NOT ARRIVED. After providing them with the tracking information and email stating it was waiting to be tested, my item suddenly appeared. (surprised?) Soooo....... waited. Week and a half later, two emails guess what? Nothing...... Raised it to a claim with paypal and got my money refunded. Had to wait two weeks for aria to NOT respond or participate in any way. If you purchase anything from aria HOPE AND PRAY it works and doesn't fail.
Having been recommended this service from a friend I chose to give Aria a go.
Gotta say I'm greatly satisfied with the service and the updates via email regarding the current status of my order.
The only problem I encountered was an item running out of a stock and not being informed until I called in, this could have been remedied with perhaps an email or notification it was out of stock, however upon calling aria they gave me an alternative for the item there and then giving me a full update on the order delivery time (My initial inquiry).
I will be using this service again, helpful staff and an easy to navigate website along with great web offers, can't complain at all.
Good service!
This was my first order from Aria since they changed delivery company to DPD. The service is so much better now and lets you know when the delivery will be arriving.
One of the items which I ordered was out of stock at the time so a delay was to be expected, but the CS team kept me updated on the progress of the order from start to finish.
A truly top notch company.
Last week I ordered a replacement CM Storm Xornet Gaming mouse from Aria, I was pleased to find that this was on one of Aria's "super" special offers and the price shot the competition out of the water. Usually I would shy away from shopping on price alone but with Aria you can have both - value and great customer service.
I would strongly recommend Aria for their customer services and non nonsence approach to business - you order, they ship and it arrives when they promise. If there is a problem (and I have only had one - that was sort of my fault) it is resolved.
I recently had a hardware failure of my Motherboard and CPU and after extensive testing of my components I decided to bite the bullet to upgrade. Without a second of hesitation I headed over to Aria to source the items and with their new deal with DPD I ordered next day and low and behold it arrived at 8:47am perfectly packaged. Without a shadow of a doubt Aria is the best place to order computer hardware from.
I recently ordered a couple of items from Aria when they arrived it was obvious they were used and second hand and none of the items were sealed as they should be every time I phoned the customer services they were fobbing me off wirth some excuse or reason why they cant help me so I sent everything back then it was a nightmare to get my money back took over a month and endless phone calls and emails eventually I had to claim my money back through paypal which took a few weeks as the seller did not participate in the paypal claim, it was complete nightmare DO NOT USE ARIA PC !!
Returned an item and wrote to them few times about the replacement being sent without any replies had to call them and was told it can take 28 days to complete. Told them cant wait that long so just refund. They told me they will see what they can do and call me in the afternoon. Guess what never got a call back. Next morning called them and the agent told me the same 28 days story. Just cancelled it and waiting for refund now. My first and last order from them. If you get your item you lucky if something goes wrong unlucky :) will take a month or so to sort it out i guess :) bye bye aria.
Purchase a laptop however on delivery the charger was defective. Impossible to get a return , no calls returned , appalling company to deal with.
Ordered on Friday morning in the sales wasn't expecting it until after the new year but to my surprise they despatched it Friday and it arrived the following Monday! The headset was cheaper than competitors (inc del) , but was shadowed by 6GBP postage.
The item arrived in reasonable condition, although City Link seemed to have bashed it about a bit, could of used more bubble wrap. Apart from that though it was a brilliant buy.
Thanks Aria!
It is sweet that I am hopefull of having finished with Aria. And sour that I ever started . I ordered the components for a PC on Sat 3 Feb. Case delivered on Monday 5 feb (brilliant) case damaged OH dear.Have listened to their blurb on the phone so returns must be easy. Sent photos and email., heard nothing. So starts the phone calls. The rest of the kit turns up Friday 9 Feb. No RMA no joy on the phone. 2 weeks later I get an RMA the case goes back wait for an email saying when the replacement is coming. More phone calls to be told it will be delivered on Wed waited, phoned. Coming Thurs waited, phoned. cCming Fri waited phoned it is coming Monday 5 March. It has arrived. So it took a month for this company to fullfill a normal purchase and show no enthusiasm to resolve a situation of their making. So when you listen to the drivel they expound on the phone BEWARE, IT IS DRIVEL
First time I used Aria
Ordered a Dell monitor and the Paypal transaction ended up billing me twice (This is no fault of Aria ). Called Aria PC to TRY and explain what had happened, the customer service male representative who had an air of arrogance and was uncommunicative rushed me off the phone, very very cold.
I eventually sent an email to Aria himself and was quickly called back within the hour by someone different who set expectations and told me that my extra payment had been refunded and that my Monitor would be with me the very next day ( This person had excellent customer service and handling skills ). The next day I received the monitor and the extra Paypal payment was refunded. The monitor is fantastic no problems with it.
Sadly I will not use Aria again for any PC purchases as I could not deal having to speak to the same uncommunicative arrogant customer service rep in the event of a problem.
The company offers cheaper prices, but if an order goes wrong, their customer support is pretty much non existent. The website brags next day delivery, so a week later and my order is still processing. I've sent multiple emails asking what has been happening, with no response. I have tried signing up for their forums to make a post, but I'm awaiting activation from a moderator, despite there being multiple online moderators, I've sent in numerous messages asking to be activated with no response. Their customer support line is open 9-5 weekdays, and completely closed weekends, which is completely useless to me.
Good value, friendly support staff as I phoned them up with a question. My full order arrived quickly and in excellent condition no problems at all,
Thanks to the guys at Aria!
My parts were ordered yesterday at 4pm, delivered from Holland this morning at 9:30. Absolutely fantastic service, well packaged, and cheaper than anywhere else.
Will definitely recommend this website to my friends.
Ordered a few parts from here a few weeks ago, ordered them on Friday and they arrived on Monday afternoon, very happy with the delivery, had a few problems whilst putting it all together so i posted on their forums, got replies very quickly and helped alot. Great delivery and great prices.
Bought aria net hd 7870 gpu fan broke of a fan blade 2 days into use whilst pc was running requested rma due to 2 year warranty and was asked to send pictures still no response or contact bought another card from a different company and looks like more money on an aftermarket cooler to use this one would not use aria again £170 down drain with what looks like a worthless warranty lesson learned.
Amazing site would buy all my PC parts from them they have great help on forums and off cant recommend these guys enough ordered a radeon hd7770 and a 500w psu came next day was shocked on how quick the delivery was with these guys.
-Max
Ive shopped with many different e-tailers, but never one like Aria, their customer service focused approach was so helpful, the forum they run is a dream for all enthusiasts alike, and their website and order proceedure is second to none
i recently ordered a Saitek Cyborg V7 keyboard, order went through instantly, dispatched within the hour, and delivered the very next morning, in perfect condition.. The website is easy to navigate and if there is any problem, they are simply 1 phone call away or a visit to the forums
cant beat this service!
Late deliveries. Lost orders. Dead on arrival products. Insanely high prices. I've had all these problems with UK technology retailers, NONE of them with Aria. They are trustworthy and reliable with often the best prices in the UK.
They have an active forum frequented by the staff so questions can be asked directly, as well as adding a personal touch to it all. Queries are answered promptly and clearly. They even helped me out once by rearranging the courier free of charge when I missed the delivery.
If your considering using Aria stop hesitating and just go for it. The only negative for them is some product categories are a little low on variety, so if they stock something you want, just go for it, you wont regret it!
This is the best computer shop i have been to EVER! i got the parts i needed fast and at a very low price. the only part i was waiting for before i buit my computer was the case form another website (Ebuyer) which was very slow to deliver and late in the day when the driver decided to turn up. i would recommend Aria pc to anyone because of the great, friendly staff when i went to get more parts and the ideas they gave me to improve my computing experience. The prices are very cheap and they have a large range of products however missed out on the exact model of case i wanted. (NZXT WHITE)
Ordered a 24" Monitor yesterday for only £99 that had good reviews it was dispatched a couple of hours later and delivered the following day.
Fully recommend.
1 star because it was compulsory if it was up to me i never give them even a star because they are cscam
i bought whole system from aria pc which is based in manchester England 1 year and a half ago cost me £810.42, when i i built my system gt 460 graphic card was greenish, the color was not correct i contacted them now they say send it back, but then when they received gpu, they refused refund and told me i have to pay postage if i am willing to send me back same faulty product, already i paid postage to send it to them so i said i am not going to pay, then they never send me product and never got the refund.
last week i updated motherboard bios to uefi then the cpu fan has stopped to work that cause my spu to burn, i tried to reverse bios but no joy, bear in mind this is official bios not beta, again i contacted aria pc to give me refund or replacement because it has 3 years warranty but again they ignored my email and they do nothing about it, i appreciate any one help me to complain about this misleading company.
yes you may see now and then good price or attractive deal, but if u face any trouble after sell then you will suffer and wish never u paid few quid more and never dealt with this bad service company.
i warned you so stay away please from this company, there are better one like [external link removed] and [external link removed]
update:
i made a review last time for the new graphic card they confiscated, they never refund me or see the product again, i said it may be my fault, so as i bought whole system from cost £810.42 2 month ago i updated bios to latest stable version to U1a(UEFI BIOS), since then cpu fan stopped working and lead to failure cpu.
i contacted gigabyte they did not reply, i contacted ariapc they replied about 2 weeks later after emails exchange i told them i do not want you confiscate this board as you did to my gpu, they assured me its fine and they sent me RAM.
i spoke with [name removed] he is nice guy but i believe it is company's policy that do not give a damn about after sale so this negative feed back is not related to him in any way he was supportive.
so i sent the board back and i have got email confirmation that they received the board and later date they sent it back for replacement.
now it is more than amonth since then but they never reply to my emails while they stated in their website after 28 days customer entitled to refund or replacement.
now i have proof for all i said and still have emails on my account.
please can somebody advice me how to sue this company i based in ireland, because of that they think they can get away this time but i will try my best to get my right back.
thanks in advance and please stay away from this company, you can try different company in uk or if you want great price here is great site in germany and remember euro is weak now so shop from this site instead
[external link removed]
thanks for any advice
Had to return a faulty item so i contacted Aria to arrange this, after a few minutes of talking to one of the sales team he started to become quite rude so i asked to speak to a manager, he refused to put me through and then told me to "piss off cos im boring him now".he then hung up...
I phoned straight back to report him and spoke to another man who called me a liar and again refused to put me through to a manager and hung up on me as well...after a further 3 more attempts to speak to a manger i was either to told "Oh you again, go away"...i am now taking this further, the men are disgusting and need reporting.....i will NEVER use them again......
I've been shopping at Aria.co.uk for about 6 or 7 years now, buying various parts for my computers, and those of my family and friends. There is a number of reasons I always go back to them: fantastic prices, speedy delivery, very helpful staff. The community on the forums is (for the most part) also a very friendly/helpful one.
Twice I've had to return items, and both times the staff have resolved my problem VERY quickly (same day).
15th of January I ordered myself a new CPU cooler, the Corsair H100i. I ordered at around 11am, and it was in my hands by noon the next day (free delivery too)!
Can't say fairer than that. Keep up the good work guys!
I purchased some Kingston ram and an AMD processor and the delivery was very fast came the next day which is not to bad also there prices are usually very competitive but i rated 4 stars because the p&p is quiet steep and some times this makes the price not competitive with other sites but apart form that it is a very good site with great sales and a good service.
This website is one, if not the best PC components shop in the U.K. Why you ask? Decent value, quick shipping and good customer service go far in this day and age and this website satisfies all three of them! You would also be supporting a shop based in the U.K with a real retail store, unlike massive giant corporations who are based in Luxembourg just the reduce their tax fee's. Remember, the more you spend on this website, the more that goes to the U.K's economy!
So I wanted a gaming pc, looked around the usual sites such as comet, pc world and dell but found the prices to be expensive. Then a friend of mine told me that he could help me build mine if I purchased all the necessary parts from Aria.
I then checked Aria website and found that not only was it cheaper for me to purchase the parts and build the pc, but the pc I would end up with was much better from Aria as I could optimize my performance within the budget I had available.
The people on the forums were of great help as they discussed and advised in length to me about which parts were better for my price range and if they would all work together.
