Carriage cost was very high for a very small lightweight item, I expected a quicker delivery than over a week considering the postage I was charged
PTS delivered shower tray a day later than arranged. The package had been opened and the cover strip was missing. Also there was a piece missing out of plughole. I would possibly use BHL again if they did not use PTS.
After Internet research I knew exactly what I wanted. The next task was to find the best price. This was easy on the Internet, BHL won particularly as their delivery price was so low.
Its not fitted yet. I hope it works out OK
Stand time of over a week for a simple shower tray. Called up to complain but was told it is what it is. I could have bought it direct from there supplier PTS and got it quicker then they could. Where is the logic
We trawled the internet for the best price and found this to be at BHL, we did check the item was in stock prior to ordering as we didn't want to order and then be disappointed with a long wait. We indicated suitable days of the week for delivery which weren't noted at first when we got the delivery time notification, this was quickly rectified once I emailed in. We had the shower tray delivered in great condition very early in the day which saved hanging around. We would use the company again.
No real issues but would have felt a lot more comfortable ordering if could have chosen a delivery slot before purchasing, or been given a better explanation of delivery process (you get email with delivery slot after purchase and then just call them to rearrange if inconvenient). Otherwise a great company with very good customer services. Item as described and arrived on time.
I FELT UNINFORMED AND UPDATED ON THE PROGRESS OF MY ORDER FROM THE START AND HAD TO ENQUIRE AS TO WHY MY ORDER HAD NOT ARRIVED AFTER 2 WEEKS; I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A BACKLOG OF ORDERS AND IT WOULD ARRIVE WITHIN A WEEK OR SO. AFTER 4 WEEKS OF WAITING. WHEN I SPOKE TO A MEMBER OF BHL THEY TOLD ME THAT PARKRAY HAD MOVED PREMISES AND THAT ALL ORDERS HAD BEEN DELAYED, AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT AT LEAST ANOTHER 2 WKS. HAD I BEEN TOLD FROM THE ONSET THAT THERE WOULD BE DELAYS, THERE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM, BUT I WAS KEPT IN THE DARK THE WHOLE TIME. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE PART.
I ordered two items on the BHL website and paid by Paypal. I hadn't noticed that one of the items was out of stock. I was phoned first thing the following day and told that there would be delay of a few weeks in delivering the out of stock item and was asked if I wanted to have a refund on all or part of the order. I asked for a refund for the out of stock item and my Paypal account was credited within minutes. The in stock item arrived within a day or two.
I ordered a Trianco Aztec boiler which came within a couple of days. The box was a little bashed and the wall mounting bracket and a number of cable ties damaged. I had to remove, straighten and refix the wall mounting plates. The next day i could not get hold of BHL so spoke to Trianco who kindly posted replacement ties.
Having recently purchased a firegrate from BHL, I would like to say that I was impressed with all aspects of this company, and I would not hesitate to use them again. A highly recommended company that delivers the goods!!
This is a very good company.The staff are very helpful if you have a query re a product.They deliver the goods on time and are very trustworthy.Will buy from them again definitely.
When spending over a thousand pounds with a new company over the internet I am always apprehensive, however with BHL I there was no need to worry. The products were priced well, delivered on time and there is a good help desk for any questions. The BHL website is also easier to use than many others. Compared to some other internet retailers of plumbing and heating products I rate BHL very highly and have been happy with the orders they have processed for me to date.
I am very dissaponted with the Service I received from BHL Company. At the beginning of this year I ordered a desiner smart looking radiator, but it turned out to be damaged. I sent it back after taking couple of pictures of the damaged radiator and sending an email to the Company requesting a full refund in February 2013. The damaged radiator had been collected very quickly, but the refund ( which turned out to be NOT FULL) I received only in May 2013. The worst part of it that in order to get my money back I had to phone them a few times with no clear answers every time I called. When I finally got the refund I realised that it was not full amount. So, I had to phone them yet again only to find out that the delivery charge has not been refunded for some unknown reason. The next step was that the Company asked me to write a complain about it and someone suppose to look at it. I sent my email to them yesterday. It means that the matter is still not resolved!
After sending the first damaged radiator back I ordered another one. The Delivery of my second radiator was booked 2 or 3 times and cancelled at the last minute. Again I was on the phone for hours as nobody could give me a confirmation of the Delivery time. It caused me a lot of stress and time wasting. Finally, after the 3rd attempt my radiator has arrived and surprisengly NOT being damaged!
In conclusion, I feel that the BHL is providing very poor service to the customers.
Having been let down by several other companies I came across BHL online. Their online chat was useful, it was real person who provided me with assistance when enquiring about stock levels and delivery times. They were honest about how long it would take to get the products (the last company said delivery would be within 3 days and 3 weeks later were fobbing me off with tales about why they had not sent the items). They let me choose a delivery day (which meant I could book the delivery for my day off). They kept me updated by email as to the progress of my order.
I needed a bath panel for my tenanats, everywhere I looked was too expensive and I found BHL online and found one at a great price. The transaction was nice and easy., plenty of detail given on the listing and the delivery was very quick. Reasonable delivery charge considering the size of the item. I would highly recommend BHL. and definitely use them again.
This is the first time I've bought radiators on line. The product and service was excellent and the delivery was quickly. I would recommend BHL to my families and friends
When ordering online i found it weird i was not able to book/ arrange a delivery slot. It was nearly a week later when a delivery datewas confirmed and i didn't expect it to be so late - i assumed when ordering they would be with me within the week.
I had to rearrange the delivery date and BHL were very accomodating. However i was told the delivery would be in the morning (8-12 slot) and we arranged that the driver would call me an hour before arrival as i don't live at the property. However, no call was made and the rads turned up about 4pm that day. Lucklily my husband was working at the house all that day but otherwise this would have been a real issue.
Ordered some water filters which are quite difficult to find but managed to order through BHL at a very competitive price.
Ordering on the website was very easy especially with the option to pay via PayPal.
Was kept up to date with my order via email and item was delivered between delivery dates promised.
Would definitely recommend.
I ordered some Calflow flow restricting cartridges for a bathroom tap - about the size of an oxo cube each (there were 3). I was told only after the order had been placed and the money taken that they would be delivered after about three weeks. Why so long for such a small and low value item (£15 total order)? Had I known first, I would have ordered them elsewhere. Not impressed.
Superb prices and great service. I cocked up my order but the staff couldn't have been more helpful in sorting it out. I can't rate them high enough in comparison to other online traders.
I have ordered a number of radiators at different times over the last year. I have found the website simple to use and the number and variety of products ample to satisfy any requirements. The price is also extremely competitive. But the real test of customer service is when things go wrong- on two occasions I ordered the wrong size radiator but there was no problem with return/refund and reorder. The telephone staff were helpful and informative.I will continue to use and recommend this company.
When I placed my order I had expected an early response to my order, this did not happen. I finished up having to phone the company and send emails before I received a reply. it took 3 weeks to get my order through these people only to find that the equipment I had ordered was delivered from my local town 12 miles away, Had I known that this was how they worked I would have gone into town and picked them up myself.
this company has all that is required for heating equipment etc has good prices good delivery times equipment good quelatey no hassel pictures of equipment on line is great shows all types and sizes
These are the guys for Terrain guttering products, takes around a week for delivery, but I guess they have to order in these products, good comms - they respond quickly to emails. Thanks.
