Easiest way I have ever bought a tyre.
Able to choose tyre in own phone at leisure. Normally have to phone around when tyre fitting places are open. It was just so easy.

Tops for value and service.

Quick and efficient service even when things go wrong.
Had a great overall experience with black circles. The tyre changing equipment actually broke down at the fitting garage and black circles actually contacted me before the garage did in order to move the fitting. I just picked up my tyres and went to the alternative garage, all organised by black circles.
One thing is to watch your order on the website carefully ... It wasn't clear that I had included fitting ... Was at the check out and hadn't selected a fitting garage for some reason. Had to back track and make sure I went through all the steps.

Information Shortfall
I have previously used Black Circles and was happy with the service so returned to buy another set of tyres. This time I was looking for a specific tyre and initially only saw one speed rated H. This seemed fine as the rating goes up to 130mph and my car does not go anywhere near that speed. The fitting garage contacted Black Circles who in turn contacted me to suggest that I need a V rated tyre as the speed rating includes a load rating also and there may be implications with my insurer should I be involved in an accident. The V rated tyre was on the website but not next to the H rated one instead it was at the bottom of the webpage and I missed it! Black Circles were happy to exchange before the fitting date but I would have to pay an additional £13 delivery. I decided that would make the tyres too expensive so I opted to keep the H rated ones. However Black Circles insisted I sign a waiver at the garage to avoid any blame etc......The car was MOT'd the next day and passed.
As tyre technology/ratings, labelling etc., become increasing more complicated I suggest that the website keep pace. Group tyres of the same type in one place and provide sufficient information so that the lay person cannot go wrong. If that includes warnings about ratings, legislation then so be it. Internet purchasing is great when it works but be warned it currently cannot replace the expert standing next to you in the garage!

The process begins with a request for the specific speed rating to be entered when adding your required size and the results can then be further filtered by cost, fitment, brand and load rating. Where no filters are selected – the listings are displayed in order of price.
As our system is automated to ensure that all orders are processed as swiftly as possible; the issue regarding the speed rating did not immediately come to light and when a tyre is despatched as ordered, we then incur additional charges to return the goods. If we are to maintain our competitive prices –we are unable to absorb these additional costs and we are sorry if you feel that this in any way inappropriate. Our returns policy is fully compliant with the Distance Selling Regulations.
Although many vehicles are not capable of being driven at the outright maximum speed of a particular tyre, any deviation from the vehicle manufacturer’s original equipment can cause problems with insurers and in these cases we will always ask our customers to confirm that they are happy to proceed despite our advice.

Excellent prices, easy to use website, great local service.
I was looking for the best price for replacement Michelin tyres and found Blackcircles.com could beat most on-line. I selected the local fitter and received a further discount. I was able to book a time to suit myself which was confirmed by email. When I arrived at the garage (just 1.5 miles away) they confirmed my order and fitted within the hour. From first seeing the website to driving away with the new tyres fitted, this was a smooth, slick and professional operation. The prices were the best and the fitters fast and professional (even cleaning fingermarks off the wheels after fitting the new tyres. I shall definitely be going back to blackcircles when I need more tyres.

Their mobile site was not working properly (not taking payments), so I phoned instead. The lady (Anne) who took the call was very helpful & apologised about the website. As I had all the details of what I needed it was a quick & easy call. Anne even phoned through to Concorde Auto centre (who were also very good) for me to see if they still had the appointment slot available that I had tried to get the day before, this was the next day. All in all a really good experience.

Found the tyre for my car easily on black circles by simply entering my registration number, which produced a selection of suitable tyres for my vehicle .

Prepping my bike for a track day 3 days later unfortunately found a pin in rear tyre (Z rated so can't be repaired) panic? no, ordered new one from black circles 11.30am delivered 12.15pm next day how's that for service. Fitted scrubbed and ready to go in 2 days can't better that. Had a great time thanks to black circles. Many thanks to all including the courier driver. John.

My first purchase with Blackcircles. Had no problem at all. Good range of tyres to select from. With various offers the price can be very attractive. I bought my tyres with MOT for fiver offer. My MOT is due next year so will have to wait to recover the savings. Good network of fitting centres and service at fitting centre was satisfactory. I have rated 4 starts because not sure how the experience will be at the time of claiming back the MOT cost next year. As of now everything was smooth and quick.

Quick and easy way of getting new tyres
I needed some new tyres for my car. I wanted to be able to compare different tyres, choose a suitable fitting location somewhere I hadn't been before, and I wanted to make sure I was getting good value. Runway Enduro £22 Cheaper than a standard fitter.
The Tyres I put on would have cost me £140 at my fitters in Cardiff. Through Black circles and CSMA discount £96 for the same tyres £44 saving. With flexibility of fitting I was able to have them fitted in Worcester while I attended a Business meeting.

When everything goes according to plan, as it did, and the experience is good you will use the company again. Although Blackcircles are a tyre wholesaler they have to ensure that the garage that fits the tyres is 'up to scratch'. The one I visited was more than satisfactory.

Beware - Old tyres
Blackcircles supply tyres that are up to 5 years old and claim that their trade association approve of this. The British Tyre Manufacturers Association recommend that tyres are changed between 5 and 7 years after manufacture. Blackcircles will do nothing if you complain after the tyres are fitted. If you use this company check the date stamp on the tyres BEFORE they are fitted and if you make enough of a fuss they will offer to take them back.

As only a loose wheel was brought to the garage for fitting and the vehicle was listed in your order as being a passenger car rather than the caravan that the tyres were intended for – we have followed the industry guidelines and have supplied stock that is less than 5 years old from the date of production. Had we been notified of your concerns prior to one of the tyres been fitted then the return of both units for a refund could have been arranged.

As with previous purchases from Blackcircle, the process worked without fault.
Having used Blackcircle many times, the process always works perfectly - tyres supplied and fitted at the pre-aranged schedule. Efficient, no-fuss experience. Before this purchase, I went through the AA to supply the tyres. The AA were cheaper, but when I arrived at the National Tyres fitting centre as used by the AA, their compressor was not working and they couldn't fit the tyres. Nobody called me, so a completely wasted journey. So I returned to Blackcircle. I repeat that I have never had any problem with Blackcircle. Excellent.
