I bought a sat nav from Box. The product is excellent. Everything I needed. The price was excellent value. Considerably cheaper than anything on the High Street and online. Almost 30% cheaper than everywhere else. Delivery was good. Took a few days but was free so can't complain at all. Could have got it faster if I'd have paid. Enquiries were also dealt with promptly and concisely. From my experience I would recommend this company.
Bought an Acer i7 Laptop with touch screen.
The price was easily £200 below list and the laptop itself is awesome. Talk about fast performance. It was also a special edition with 10Gb memory (Acer reckon this model only take 6Gb so not sure how they achieved that!!!!).
Service from Box was excellent - I had the laptop within 2 days even on an economy delivery.
Will definitely be saving their details for future use.
The only thing to slow down or snag at all about this purchase was me.......
When using your mouse for the very first time, remember to remove the little sticker protecting the laser......

I ordered an original Windows 7 OEM operating system & received it with many thanks. The price of the product was good & it was delivered in around 2 days from my payment clearing (due to buying through ebay). I had no problems with box.co.uk & i received a couple of emails saying my item had been dispached & had been given a tracking number. The item received, customer service & ease of ordering was second to non. I would highly recommend this company.
I ordered the sat nav a couple of days before I was to go on holiday.I didnt pay extra for speedy delivery and accepted the item was 3-5 days delivery.What a pleasant surprise,it turned up before I left and I was able to use on holiday.
Also I asked for a VAT receipt so I could claim the vat back against our business, it was back within minutes,cant say better than that.
The mouse arrived quickly and sealed. The response time of the mouse is fantastic and the build quality is brilliant. The service which 'Box' provided was very efficient and professional. I would not hesitate to use 'Box' again for purchasing items. Thanks a lot.
The item description was spot on and delivery on time and excellent tracking. There was a problem with the item and Box couldn't have been more helpful, quickly replacing the item with rapid and superb communication at all times.They went way beyond what was strictly necessary. Ordered a headset which on the site was showing in stock, expected shipping day came and went with no notification. Looked at web-site and saw item was out of stock - easy to guess what had happened - they never had any. Two days after expected delivery date and finally get an e-mail asking me to call them. So I called and was told that there was none left and they weren't expecting any so will issue a refund. I feel they could've been more on the ball and identified this much sooner saving me a week without a much needed headset which I've sourced elsewhere.
I saw a monitor on eBay at a good price so I bought it. Then they said it was dispatched. Then they rang and said there was only one and it was faulty so they couldn't send it to me? On that basis, I asked for a refund and went to look elsewhere.
Elsewhere turned out to be their other eBay listing for 'more than 10 available' of exactly the same monitor, only it was £40 more expensive. I called them back and was told this is a mistake, they're pulling the listing. They didn't pull it, so I ordered one of those to see what was really going on. Discussing this with them, I was told I could have one, so I asked for it at the original lower price, because the "we haven't got any" was clearly untrue. But no deal, I had to pay the higher price. Another refund, still no monitor.
Except they said the first refund had been made but it hadn't, I had to chase a week later.
Then they send me an invitation to review their service for the product they hope I received and am enjoying. Hey ho.
I bought a Joy TAB 9.7 from Box.co.uk. It arrived at right time but the product itself had lots of troubles. Unfortunately had to return it twice now, still not right. They do not give much explanation and does not replaced it.Bad luck.
Not a great deal to say here. I ordered a new Russell Hobbs kettle for a rental property and it arrived in good time, in one piece and as far as I am aware, is working. No problem with the company, although I have had no reason to test their customer service. I paid, they delivered, kettle works.
I puchased a NS!310 NAS drive from box.co.uk with the standard 3-5 day delivery time. I received an email about 20 minutes after ordering to say that my item had been dispatched by DPD 48 hr. The NAS drive was ordered on the Monday afternoon and I had it arrived on the Wednesday without any problems. I have nothing bad to say about this company and would be happy to use them again Thanks!!
I wish I had seen the bad reviews here for this company before using them. They would appear to be most accurate which makes me wonder about the glowing reports.
As with many of the bad reviews here, when I attempted to return an item, unused and unopened, I was extremely aggravated to find that this company sticks to the letter of the Distance Selling Regulations unlike, for instance, Amazon. The DSR only allows returns for a full refund within 7 days which is, IMHO, inadequate. People do not always receive their goods on time. For instance, I live in an block of flats with a porter who takes delivery of things when I'm not at home so it's a regular occurrence that I order something, have to go away for a week and don't get the item for much more than 7 days even though it's officially been received. In my case, I had a family bereavement which meant that I wasn't at home for a long period of time.
In my case, I purchased a HP Microliant Server which they are now selling for £35 more than I bought it for. I requested that they accept the return for a full refund and I would pay for the return delivery. They refused point blank, even though they could resell the item for a profit. I rather got the impression that they were simply doing it for spite, refusing just because they could, not because it made any business sense to refuse. This is clearly not a company that values repeat customer business.
I strongly advise you to take the positive reviews of this company with a large dose of salts(perhaps they were all lucky?) and avoid unless it's for extremely low value items for which you are prepared to take a very big risk.
A friend had a similarly appalling experience and I will be encouraging him to write a review here too.
The order got processed the same day and the product was despatched the same day as well and I received it before the estimated minimum date, so I am very pleased with the service provided and would definitely use it again
Whilst purchasing my laptop online and picking it up in-store, everything was nice and smooth, with the exception of automatically adding anti-virus software to your checkout basket (very sneaky, some people might not even notice), thankfully though it can be removed.

Now, I paid just over £530 for it, and I'm not entirely convinced I've got my moneys worth. One of the keys has fallen off ALREADY and I've had it no longer than a month. The laptops actual performance however is good, except for the flimsy keys and a not-so-responsive touchpad...
I'd like to know if Box offers a service to replace missing keys or rather to apply them back on to the laptop, I still have the key, but I can't get it back on myself.
I have ordered from Amazon and EBuyer before with no issues with RMA and items have always been returned quickly at no cost to me and a full refund , i needed a new PSU so i ordered one of Box.co.uk as it seemed like a reputable website, order went through fine and received product , only to find out the SATA connectors werent manafactured properly and wouldnt find my hard drive so i submitted an RMA Request stating that it was faulty and i got an email response saying it was being requested as a DSR = Distance Selling Rights Request and that basically it was if they ignored there might be a problem with the product , now im out of pocket £4 or so for sending it back when its actually faulty which i shouldnt pay for
Ill never be shopping here again

I ordered a Gemini JoyTab from Box.co.uk which developed a fault within a fortnight after only 3-4 uses. They have refused me a refund despite admitting the tablet had three separate faults.
No customer service skills whatsoever when you phone.
I would advise anyone to stay well away from this company. It's not worth the hassle. Go to a more reputable retailer even if it costs a little more.
