I have used this company several times now and not once have I had any sort of a problem. I used the website and found the parts I needed quickly and the delivery was very quick even though I paid via Paypal there was no waiting time, I have no hesitation in reccomending them.
I use Buyspares (and one other company) to keep my household equipment going. A skinflint by nature and now by necessity, I would rather keep a sturdy item going than buy a new, more flimsy one. Hence my cleaners last for at least 20 years and my washing machines for 15 before I need to even think about scrapping them. Usually I don't. I replace parts until the thing falls apart and cannot be revived.
The second hand cooker I have used for 25 years recently needed a regulator and ring. Job done. This time my ancient Electrolux cleaner needed bags, and Buyspares had them. And the filter, and if and when I need them, replacement brushes.
It's easy to find what I want (and as you'll gather, I'm VERY careful to get the right specification), and the delivery was within 48 hours.
I used the site for the first time a week ago, I found the site easy to use, the price was excellent & postage reasonable. I opted for normal delivery & expected that I would receive the goods (a hinge for my tumble dryer) within a couple of days. I placed the order on Monday & called the company on Thursday as I had not received the hinge, the guy I spoke to was not the best, the message was there is nothing I can do about it we need 2 weeks (specified no of days can't actually remember exactly how many) before we can contact Royal Mail. There was no " I am sorry, it doesn't normally take that long etc" I just felt that he didn't care. I also emailed the person who sent me this feedback mail explaining my problem & todate she has not responded to me. The hinge arrived 2nd class packet on Saturday - 6 days after placing my order. An order I placed on Amazon for a similar sized item arrived 1st class the next day!! Problems can be positives if they are handled correctly - this one wasn't. Who do I use next time??
Good website easy to use, found the item I was looking for straight away with no hassle,
ordering and delivery was excellent, I was kept informed of my orderes progress at all stages right up to the exact hour it was to be delivered to my door. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and I will certainly use them again.

I retunred a freezer flap that stated it would fit on thoer website however, once received guess what it didnt fit. I then got charged the postage and packing to return the item (fair enough) however for them to recieve it and put it back on the shelf cost me 25% of the cost of the item. When I contacted them to find out why I had recieved so little back for my item I had to wait 16 minutes to speak to an advisor who could not help me and then passed through to a team leader.
The whole experience .....Rubbish! dont buy from these people!

Order not complete first time round with no explanation in the paperwork or via email as to why or whether the second half of the order was going to be supplied at all.
When the item turned up 3 weeks later, it was faulty.
I returned it, using the correct proceedure 3 weeks ago, but no refund yet.
If you want to talk to the company on the phone you have to pay extra (5p per minute as far as I remember) with an 08456 ... number.
When I did speak to them to ask if they could check a replacement product rather than risk sending another faulty one out (?they may have a bad batch), they said that they couldn't/wouldn't do this.
I am looking for a part for my hedge trimmer. Despite their ad stating being a dealer for this make, the make was not listed in their drop-down menu. I emailed a request with the type and part description, but the reply said they could not identify the item, and requested more detail. I emailed the details from the I.D. plate, including serial number, build date etc. The next email said they could not identify it, and to contact the supplier. The machine is not that old, and I was disappointed at the breakdown, but to have a so-called dealer with no information is really poor.
Over a month ago I purchased items on line. I had difficulty finding what I wanted despite having ordered the item at least twice before. I phoned and was told it was not available and then tried again with online help which brought up a dialogue box saying this was the part I was looking for. There was no picture available so I ordered on trust. When it arrived it was not the required item. I rang and was told they would send a label for return.
The item cost me £15.99 and £5.99 was returned later.It has taken over 14 days to get any reply and today the only response is that there is a restocking fee and 2 delivery fees to pay. From this I work out that I have paid £9.24 for 2 tiny plastic foam filters both of which would fit in an envelope with a 2nd class stamp on and presumably Usain Bolt has run along the shelves and put them back into stock. This is not customer service as I as an ex customer service manager know it and I shall not be using this firm again. I have no problem paying delivery costs with online orders-payment is acceptable for convenience but please do not use ripoff techniques with customers.
Ordered part for hob, shown as in stock. Took money, no contact for 2 weeks until I called them to query. Spoke to very abrupt Customer Service person, put on hold for 5 minutes, told item not in stock and was on back order! When were they ever going to tell me. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.
BUY SPARES - get your act together.
Since leaving this review I have received a reply to my email to BuySpares apologising for what's happened and saying they've arranged a refund of the difference between the Next Day and Standard delivery options. In which case I'm happy and felt I should reflect that in this review. New rating 4 stars.

If you order the right part and they have it in stock it'll probably work out - as per the high number of positive reviews on here. If anything goes wrong you'll hit problems as they don't appear to have any "human" customer service operation.
I ordered a £7.49 part yesterday which they did have in stock - but despite selecting Standard Delivery at £2.50 (and confirming the total price as £9.99 via PayPal), when the order confirmation page appeared I was surprised to see they'd selected the Next Day delivery option at £5.99 - so a total price of £13.48. I emailed them immediately - within 2 mins of the order being placed - asking them to change it back to Standard Delivery and refund me the difference as I was in no hurry for the part. No reply whatsoever and I've just had an email from DPD telling me my item will be delivered today.
So yeah they had the part I was after (well done) but it's costing me almost as much to have it sent out as the part itself costs - and I can't stand companies such as this who ignore communication from their customers. So different from the likes of Amazon where you know you'll get satisfaction without any argument if anything goes wrong.
So it's a bit of a gamble. Are you feeling lucky punks, huh, well, are you?
Bought spares for my Irobot Roomba at Buyspares. Got everything I normally look for (and want) when shopping on the internet: original product, good price (compared to Denmark) and acceptable delivery time. Will most definately use again.
I looked on their website for a part for my espresso machine. They a part finder, you enter the model number and they tell you the part you need, simple. When it arrived it was not the right part but they blamed me for ordering the wrong part and charged £5.31 for the postage. Never again.
I have had some problems with the knobs on y Zanucci cooker. Rang thre company and was given 4 different telephone numbeers and when finally I got through I was told they would ring back but they didn't. So I I left messages with several possible supplier and only TRUSTPOT replied with an Email and a diagram of the neded part .
I give them full mark ffull mark for courtesy and efficiency
very happy with service and price,, ordered hotpoint fan oven motor on tuesday morning and package arrived thursday morning,, not bad especially as i live in stornoway, outer hebridies, scotland,, and part fitted bang on,,, THANKS buyspares ,will definatly use you again.
I spoke to a woman called Amy, she sold me a fan oven element for my cooker ready for my dinner party this weekend. it came in a good condition and packaged well :) just hope my dad can fit it tomorrow like he said.

I emailed these guys and asked them to check to see if the belt I was looking at was the right one, a few hours later I got an email back telling me it was so i ordered it on the website and more importantly didn't have to pick up the phone. It arrived a few days ago and was right. Good job guys.

I ordered a belt for washing machine on a friday eve and it was delivered on the tues easy to order and great customer service.
I used this guys for the second time and was happy after both times, I ordered a grill pan last time after I couldn't get one to fit from anywhere else that came in 3 days and this time i ordered a drum paddle and that came in 2 days. Some would say i got what I paid for but when they tell you it could be 5 days for delivery and it turns up in 2 its got to be worth a mention.
I ordered a complete set of hoses for my Vax mulitcleaner I only had an idea what I wanted but the search engine by modelnumber meant I had confidence in the order. I paid for rapid delivery and it certainly was. Ordered on Wednesday evening deliverede within 20 mins of the estimate on Friday. Will use them again whenever I need any Spares.
Wanted a lead for my jvc camera, wernt in stock but it came after 8 days. i gave these guys 4 out of 5 because it wernt in stock when i ordered it but to be fair to them, they were the only ones that even knew if they could get it. Give them a go
My order was fine, I ordered it to my home address thinking I was off work but I wasnt, so I called these and they got it changed after speaking to the delivery company. It took them a few hours to let me know it was possible but they called me to confirm and got it delivered ok.
I bought a tumble dryer part from these guys, I wanted one of the venting kits but wasn't really sure on the size I needed, I called these and they sent me the right one. Thanks

I should have known better than to give Buyspares a 2nd chance. My first experience was with a reel cover for my Flymo Strimmer which did not fit. I returned it with a photo of the original cover. They sent the same one back including the photo. I returned them again with further explanation.... I haven't heard from them since nor seen the reel cover, albeit the wrong one, again. So, naively, I gave them a 2nd chance last week. I ordered a filter plus 2 drive belts for my Vax vacuum cleaner. They arrived very quickly so perhaps I should give them 1/2 a star for that. But then again they want your money don't they? When I opened the parcel I thought that I had ordered incorrectly. So I contacted customer service to arrange a return and re-ordered the ones on the web site that had the same number on as the belt on my cleaner.. You've guessed it. The same belts were supplied but at a higher price. My phone call this morning was taken by an Automated Moron who had all the Automated Answers, including "They are the compatible belts for that model " and " The price must have gone up in the last 6 days." I could have made this review a lot shorter..i.e. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN YOU CAN LIKE IT OR LUMP IT. I give in. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I found it most regrettable that I had to post this rating on this page February 20th. Since then the matter has been handled by Shabnam Saddique the Team Leader of the customer services dept to my satisfaction. I have been given a full refund of the second invoice and I have returned the 2 drive belts. This is by no means a retraction but oh! how I wish the matter had been handled this way in the first place.
Everything we needed was easy to find and readily available. The web site features images of all the required products supported by clear text descriptions. This really helped with identification of the required parts where alternatives were available.
All items were well packed and delivered promptly. Particularly pleased with the quality of the items form alternative suppliers (you expect the original spares to be good).
All items, including original spares, were competitively priced.
