Great service, at a great price
Bought a Yamaha sound bar from them, but decided at the last minute to upgrade to an even better one after reading some online reviews. Drew in the sales team quickly refunded my original order and allowed me to swap without any hassle. I collected the item from their office in Maidenhead on the same day and Drew even carried the item to my car for me.I would definitely buy from them again.

Just recieved my Pioneer SC-LX 56 from Exceptional AV. Ordered Saturday and Karl was appologising for it being a Bank holiday and so couldn't ship till Tuesday!!!
He even changed the shipping address Tuesday morning for me as I'd cocked up, and I still got it today (Wednesday). Thanks Karl :-)

that was amazing.. im honestly above the moon when ive got onkyo 818
here we go... nearly six months searching for a new reciever or amplifier.. and i was confused which is the best product. actually there are few of them but i must decide which i wanted which must latest model sticking to my mind. and that was onkyo818 ... and thanks to exceptional av. .. they've been there for me to choose or choice how much stuff to sort off. ohh thank GOD everything is sorted out. so when onkyo818 was delivered .. i was excited about.. but i was hold my excitement because i need to fix everything on my living room.. still in the box for four weeks ..... okay i was decided to install weekends .. la lal la then there you go read the manual first before we further . tv check.... speakers check... i mean speaker wires.. double check... HDMI check .... remote ready ???? ok 1 2 3 .... bingo.... everything set up.. ahhhhh ooohhhh this what im looking for ??? this what i need ???? ... i tell what my onkyo818 never never let me down. .. thats why they are the best Av reciever of all time. i really enjoy it..... and very thankfull also the exceptional av-co.uk for their best offer. . and i recommend this seller and the product i bought theyve been amazing to me. :) :) :)

I would like to say I would give Exceptional AV 10/10 for a wonderful service.
I called twice, once for information, I asked a lot of questions and was pleased with Andrew's response, he was so helpful. One the second occasion, I spoke to Drew, I asked a few more questions and was happy with what he told me, hence my order.
The Denon DM39, very good price, sound and looks great in my lounge.
I would certainly order from Exceptional AV again and recommend you to family & friends.

Good value - good service
Got a good price on a set of speakers. Ordered next day delivery but not in stock. Speakers arrived within a couple of days and refunded all delivery charges.

Great value and service, poor delivery
Great value and competative prices. Customer service was excellent and email queries answered very quickly.
Let down by the delivery service used (city link) who crushed one parcel, luckily the cables, and punctured another. The other was my Zensor floorstanders which has a scuff mark on the side but seems ok.
It was a shame that the overall experience was let down by the delivery and think you should review them but also add a little more polystirene to the speaker packing to protect the items.

We're sorry you were let down by the delivery company. City Link tend to be very good, but occasionally they can get things wrong. We will also feedback your comments to Dali regarding adding more polystyrene. I think you can rest assured this is actually the first set of Zensor 5 or 7 we have had damaged in transit.

Exceptional!
I was looking to purchase a Yamaha AV Receiver, which wasn't in stock at the time. The guys at Exceptional AV seemed extremely knowledgeable regarding the product and were able to answer all of my questions over the telephone. There were some issues with delivery from Yamaha, but when it finally arrived into stock and was sent out, it went 'missing' after being collected by the courier (suspected to have been stolen)! Exceptional AV took immediate action to resolve the issue and sent out a replacement the following week, when new stock was received. Despite the problems, I felt reassured by the salesmen, and was so pleased with their level of customer service, that I also decided to purchase a nice pair of DALI speakers, after being offered a fantastic deal on the price. All arrived next day after dispatch. Can't say fairer than that. Well done guys!

Excellent service, the first amp I recieved was faulty through no fault of Exceptional AV but there was no problem with returning and supplying a new item within a few days. The staff were amazing with communication both by phone and email.
I would definitely deal with Exceptional AV again.

Very happy with the service I received from Drew. Happy to answer queries and come up with the best package possible for me. Not all items were in stock at the time I ordered, but I was sent regular updates by email about progress. Overall, a very good buying experience.

Excellent service/communication, bad payment policy
The only wrong thing is about the payment policy.
The bank transfer cost me 8 euros, and it's a waste of time.
Paypal would be useful, for international credit/debit card.

Thanks for your comment. Im afraid at the moment the banks do not have 3D secure (Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure) working between Greece and the UK which means that taking these payment methods carries a large fraud risk for both the customer and us. Unfortunatley Paypal carries the same risks so for certain regions we must accept payment by bank transfer, it is the most secure method for all of us. this only affects a small number of customers as 3D secure is now active in most european countries this means we can take credit and debot card payment s from them. Hopefully the banks will soon change this for the remaining regions and make life easier for all of us!

Good Price and efficient
Ordered Tannoy Speakers. There was a delay but I was advised promptly with opportunity to cancel if I wished. Was happy to wait and products arrived on dates quoted. Only negative comment form me is that the site gives you the impression available immediately so if you are looking for an immediate purchase you could be disappointed.
Prices are very competitive as well.

Good products, good price plus helpful and informed on the phone.
I bought an AV receiver, speaker package and inteconnect bundle from these guys. When speaking to them, as compared to Richer Sounds, they were really helpful and understood the product. They also showed some flexibility on the connectors with no resistance and delivered it all on time and on a Sat for no extra charge. Can't ask for more than that - would definitely recommend.

Item delivered in good condition after a slight delay
The item I ordered was not in stock and so they had to wait for a delivery before shipping the product. This was not communicated until I got in touch to query where my delivery was. Prompt and courteous response informed me of the above and apologised for the delay. The item was then delivered as described.

Excellent price backed with excellent service
Ordered some headphones from them just after Christmas as they offered the most competitive price on the net. Opted to pay more for next working day delivery. Received a call later that day advising that due to Christmas rush backlog due to the adverse weather and reduced staff hours due to the holiday period they could not guarantee the next day delivery and gave me the option to cancel my order. As I wasn't really in a hurry I agreed to keep the order on and agreed to a refund of the extra charge for delivery. Headphones ended up arriving the next day anyway so was extra happy. The fact that someone phoned me to discuss potential problems rather than let them happen and for me to do the chasing speaks volumes for their customer service and I would definitely recommend and use them again.

Good help and advice, let down by incomplete order.
Ordered a Yamaha YPS-2200 Sound Bar with free YDS-12 ipod Docking Station in Jan 2013. There is a backorder on the docking station and was due 4th Mar 2013 but now delayed again until 27th Mar 2013. Exceptional AV say the problem is with Yamaha, I do not care for excuses, I bought from Exceptional AV not Yamaha. Get a grip and satisfy your customers!
