I've worked with GoDaddy because one of my clients did and man, what a mess. You need to actually WAIT before you can create an FTP account, you need to wait to switch domains etc almost like they have so less ram that they need to make a queue for all clients.
Don't go with GoDaddy, choose another webhost. You won't regret it.
I forbindelse med opsætning af mailservere bruger jeg SSL-certifikater og skiftede her for tre måneder siden fra Thawte til GoDaddy, primært pga prisen.
Jeg vil gerne rose GoDaddy i høje vendinger pga deres fantastiske telefonsupport, der er tilgængelig hele døgnet. Ringede så sent som igår pga et teknisk problem, som dog bundede i min mangel på kendskab til certifikater. Supporteren forklarede mig på en meget pædagogisk måde, hvad jeg havde gjortt forkert, og rettede det så iøvrigt for mig.
Det er sgu fin kundeservice :-)

Worst support every - they wont even talk to you about server issues, you have to use a chat room. If you press an issue they just disconnect you.
Shared servers very slow, VPS no support. Really, none. If you want it done you have to do it yourself.
My control panel broke, and rendered the machine unusable. They refused to fix it. I just had to abandon the machine and switch to another host - webfusion. Avoid these guys unless you have a degree in computing at the least - my tech guy with 10 years Apache support could not get this server running, and they didn't want to know !!!!!!
I use Godaddy for hosting 15 websites (so far) and have found them to be really reliable. I use them for their low prices and really good range of add-on services.
We just started a new business and we use WIX for the website builder and GoDaddy for the .com name. The prices are very good and so far everything is very clear with their control area.
Godaddy have renewed my unused domain without my authorization. When I became aware of it, I contact them and after some mails and a phone call they finally agreed to make a refund. However they didn't refund the full amount. I then emailed them for an explanation, but they would not give me an explanation on email, but we agreed on a callback. Several days and emails later they finally called me, only to tell me that they refuse to transfer the full amount back, as I have apparently used the domain, for which I did not authorize the payment, for a month.
Only after this second conversation they turned of automatic renewal, so I wont have problems with this in the future. You're right I wont, cause I will never use godaddy.com again!
Constant troubles with domains renewal. They are literally forcing you to set your settings to 'auto-renew', otherwise you are risking losing your domains.

Many people recommend them as they have got some great deals. They are always open to opinions and are ever ready to help if anything at all.

I use this website to check the credibility of other online websites.
We can check the registered owners of the website, where the site is being operated from, when was it first created.
These info gives me strong confidence to give my credit/debit card details to websites for money transactions.
I also have a domain registered with them. Cool features and service.
Customer service that can't be faulted. It's why I stay with them and recommend them. Now if they coud get their website interface working in such a customer friendly way - perfection.
Good, easy to use website with good prices, but their customer service is where they really stand out. A real breath of fresh air compared to lots of internet companies whose staff are no help at all.
Everyone I have ever spoken to at GoDaddy has been very knowledgeable - you can tell they're not just reading from a script - and very happy to help. The first time I rang them it was because I couldn't find a way to opt out of a £17 charge that I did not think applied to me. I thought they would not be much help as I was essentially ringing to give them less money, but the attention I got felt just as good as if I had been calling to make a large purchase, and the girl eventually found a way around the charge for me.
I think it really helps that you always get a customer service questionnaire for each specific person that you talk to - they obviously really want to know what they are doing well, and who is doing their job well.

They refuse to allow my domain to transfer nor provide another way to verify domain ownership to enable you to transfer it. There is no way to opt-out of a 60 day hold on your account as you cannot make changes without agreeing to this - so basically as a customer you are forced to agree to terms.

If they are citing a 60-day hold based upon a change to your WHOIS registrant information, that is not allowed by ICANN's transfer rules (http://www.icann.org/en/transfers/policy-12jul04.htm), and we would highly recommend either filing a complain with ICANN (http://reports.internic.net/cgi/registrars/problem-report.cgi) and/or contacting GoDaddy and demanding that they remove the lock on your domain and allow it to transfer.
I work with multiple freelancers and site developers and i will never tire of telling this to any client etc. I am asked to give advise on site development all of the time. Thumbs down. I called. I talked. I emailed this company. I also filed a complaint with ICANN and the BBB. Posted on their Facebook wall. Tweeted. Basically i have 60 days to voice my opinion, and if they won't allow my domain to transfer then that is the only recourse.

Pros: Domain and SSL very good pricing and cheap. SSL basic is 1/4th of the price of Verisign and GeoTrust.
Cons: The value of their hosting are not the cheapest and easiest to use. It doesnt have the same ease of usage as CPanel. Also EMAILS beware: limited space for the price you pay for.
I've used a number of different domain registrars and hosting services over the years. By far GoDaddy is the best. I've had no compliiants about the product or service, including customer and technical support. I would recommend them without reservation.
Jeg køber nu størstedelen af mine domæner igennem GoDaddy.com. De er hurtige til at levere (hurtigere end nogle andre registratorer jeg har handlet med) og deres priser er fornuftige.
Deres hjemmeside kunne godt være lidt hurtigere, og den er ret bedækket med reklamer og tilbud, der ikke altid er relevante. Men ser man bort fra dette, så kan jeg sagtens anbefale GoDaddy.com
Efter jeg kom herind læste jeg et par reviews om GoDaddy, hvor de ikke ville anbefale dem. Det var primært omkring et længere forløb med GoDaddy, så som at komme ud fra handlen og have mistet nogle oplysninger og så få hjælp (service). Da jeg ikke er nået så langt hos dem vil jeg ikke lade dette påvirke min bedømmelse. Og så snart min opfattelse af GoDaddy ændrer sig, skal jeg med det samme ændre min bedømmelse herinde.

Jeg har været kunde hos GoDaddy nogle år nu, og jeg har haft kontakt til deres support. GoDaddy tager sikkerheden alvorligt, og de er til at snakke med. Deres hjemmeside har desuden fået et løft siden jeg oprindeligt skrev min anmeldelse, samt hastigheden er øget.
