Simple unresponsive! Refunded nevertheless...

Hi folks,

When talking about this company is difficult to choose where to start, if the unresponsive customer service, the VISA payment that isn't possible to use, the distinct prices for same products in different GoldDirect sites (IT vs ES vs PT) independently of the destination, or even, not remind you at the payment process that you should place the order reference in the description of the respective money transfer...!

I will start by the time they say to deliver your purchase TO YOUR HOME, it is advertised 21 working days, same to say, one month! However, I place my order at 13 of February this year, more than one month ago, and yet, they didn't gave me any prediction to the dispatch of my order!

I don't think they are only clumsy, I think they are simple getting worse! It's like they are leaving this business because are moving to a better one, or just because they are tired of it! In any case, I already expressed my availability to be refunded!

Any way, here I will remain updated the status of my order to people know what I'm talking about:
Present date: 27/03/2013;
Purchase: 13/02/2013;
Payment confirmation: 18/02/2013;
Refund asked and confirmed on: 25/03/2013;
Refund concluded on: 27/03/2013;
Present status: REFUND MADE.


1st UPDATE (25/03/2013): GoldDirect ask me if I wish to be refunded at 25 of March. I replied affirmatively.

2nd UPDATE (27/03/2013): Today, GoldDirect concluded the refund asked and confirmed! I'm pleased by that!

UNRELIABLE, LIAR, UNQUALIFIED

Hi to all,
today I'm gonna list all the problems that I have had with them:

7th of January 2013: Ordered a gold coin
8th of January: Gold coin paid with transfer bank
21th of January: Gold direct received the tranfer bank
13th of February: I'm still waiting for the goild coin

-1th PROBLEM: I have not been able to pay with credit card, I had to pay with transfer bank. In the website there is wrote that everyone can pay with credit card till 15000 euro.

- 2th PROBLEM: Gold direct received the payment the 21th of January. the same day, they sent me an email where they told me: " We received the payment. Goods will be shipped at the end of the month".
The first of february they sent me another email where there was written: " There is a slight delay with the despatchment of your gold coin. It's currently awaiting shipment and we will send the track and trace as soon as possible".
The 7th of February they sent me another email where there was written:" we are pleased to inform you that your order will be shipped early next week. You will received the track and trace code in due corse".
13th of february: I asked them some news about my gold coin. NO ANSWER TILL NOW!!!

- 3th problem: Customer service is very slow in answering questions. I don't know if it is because they receive many questions or it is just because they are lazy. Anyway they are not able to do their job.

I leave you to judge this company and I hope to receive a feedback from them as soon as possible because I'm really losing my patience.

UPDATES:
14th February 2013: Finally I have received the tracking number from gold direct, but incredibly the tracking number is wrong !! GOLD DIRECT ALWAYS AMAZES ME MORE...

high quality products

I've experienced some troubles with the shipment 'cause Christmas holidays and item availability , so my order has been sent about 1 month after the placement but I am very satisfied. The coin is simply........WONDERFUL. It looks like just minted.....fantastic. Also the package is very well done.; high levels of anonimity and privacy . Very good and fast the delivery by FedEx.
The only lack is the customer service that doesn't always reply your question., although I appreciated very much that in reply to my complaint, I've received an email directly from the boss, Guido Van Stijn. Perhaps they are growing fast so there's something yet to improve. Anyway, the dutch manager of the office in Milan is very nice and helpful .

A very wide range of products and nice customer service. I was notified that delivery was going to take a little longer due to high demand. After a week the products arrived with UPS.

Non risponde

Il 5/9/2012 ho ordinato un lingotto d'oro, ma non ho ancora ricevuto la mail di conferma; ho inviato diverse mail ma non ho ricevuto nessuna risposta.
Per tutto questo tempo ho quindi dovuto tenere inutilmente disponibile l'importo destinato al pagamento del lingotto.
Ritengo quindi molto negativo il comportamento della Golddirect, soprattutto perché non dà nessuna risposta.

Pessimo Servizio Clienti

Passato due settimane dal pagamento, non ho ricevuto niente tranne la ricevuta del pagamento tramite e-mail.
Provato chiamare ufficio in Italia. ma non riusci a parlare con responsabile. capisco che possibile avere dei problemi con consegne o altro ma come dice sul sito tempo di consegna massima è di 5 giorni. adesso sono passati 14 giorni dal pagamento ma non mi hanno nemmeno chiamato almeno per avvisarmi se ci sono eventuali ritardi. POCO PROFESSIONALE

PUNTUALI MA DISORDINATI

La merce è arrivata puntualmente,alcuni articoli erano blisterati e altri impachettati a mano in modo artigianale...e non è mortadella....

Alles correct afgehandeld.

alles snel en netjes afgehandeld ook de klacht over het bezorgen werd snel en correct behandeld. UPS had het pakketje met toch wel een behoorlijke waarde zo achter het huis gezet op de tuintafel, zonder een handtekening oid. Direct met UPS gebeld die dit zeer hoog opnamen. De volgende dag met goudkoop gebeld die ook direct actie ondernamen. Later ook goede terug koppeling gehad.

Non mi è piaciuto il pacco imballato con nastro adesivo bianco, e anche vero che non mi sarebbe piaciuto se fosse stato scritto gold direct in quanto attirava troppo la attenzione, pero mi chiedo se uno apriva il pacco e faceva sostituzione ? e vero che spedizioniere UPS è OK, pero ...., il resto tutto ok, ho usufruito dell'assistenza in quanto iban era su banca olandese , poteva essere specificato visto che compravo su sito tedesco , pero sono stati subito veloci e precisi nel rispondere

Achat pièces d'or

Suite à une commande sur le site "Goldirect" de pièces d'or j'ai apprécié la navigation sur le site web, les réponses rapide pour des questions posées par email, la qualité des pièces reçus et les sachets individuel pour chaque pièces. Le négatif : temps de livraison un peu long je trouve , les réponses émail rapide mais en anglais , et sur le site web c'est pas précisé si les pièces lors de l'achat sont neuves et si elles sont sous scéllée.
Je reste satisfait de mon achat un progrès pour les temps de livraison serait idéal. Cordialement

Tutto bene, ma non mi è arrivata la fattura e non mi sono arrivate comunicazioni riguardo la spedizione.
Avrei anche gradito l'invio, insieme al lingotto, di un certificazione del prodotto.

Quando si presenta un prodotto a determinate condizioni sia monetarie che di tempistiche, una azienda seria si fa' carico di eventuali sovrapprezzi che dal momento della commissione si sviluppino, per voi non e' cosi in quanto, per definire l'operazione ho dovuto effettuare un ulteriore bonifico.
in merito poi alla tempistica della definizione non si e' trattato come da voi pubblicizzatio di 5/6 giorni , ma molti di più.

Spot price spot on

Site interface is user-friendly, has good comparison features, gives bottom line prices accurately. Service is good with prompt replys on query's. Delivery on purchases was timley. Bi-lingual web-site is a sought after feature as the tax rates were a purchase consideration.

Efficient professional, reliable.

I was very satisfied with this site. My only point is that they took a few days between the order approval and sending the coins, I expected it to be almost simultaneous. But the delay was reasonnable.

Tramite i consigli (a voce) del manager per l'Italia ho iniziato con un acquisto di prova ed essendo andato tutto liscio ne ho fatti altri. Dopo una decina di acquisti posso affermare che è un'azienda seria che fa
