I wanted a costume with a military theme and did not want to spend too much. The sailor hat and collar will add to my navy top and trousers and deck shoes and voila, I am an American sailor and I can sing '101 ponds of fun'!

The costumes we bought were brilliant we were the best dressed at the party, and the delivery was good too, I thought with it being a bank holiday we would be waiting but the costumes were there the day before we thought they were being delivered and we were informed when they were sent to us and when to expect them, I would recommend this company to anyone

Great service, good quality, bad website

I ordered 6 costumes for friends and myself and they were great. We had an amazing day with them. Ordering was also easy. I opted to call the customer service as I needed them quickly and wanted to understand the options (it wasn't obvious from the website). Very friendly, very knowledgable customer service! They knew the products, the logistics and were generally very friendly too.

The only thing I would say is that the website is rather bad. Bad user journeys, information is hard to find, I tried to order 6 costumes but the site only presented 1 when I was checking out, although I had put 6 in the basket, etc. a lot could be done there.

Excellent service from offing to delivery

Very pleased with how easy it was to order and goods delivered well within the time. However i had to return item due to sizing and was disappoint that it wasn't free returns and shock how much it cost to send items back.
The quality of the item was very good. I would order from them again as apart from the being no free returns, the rest of the service was excellent.

I see that you selected our UK Saver delivery which states delivery will be within 4-5 days and in this case was delivered in less than 48 hours - not bad huh?! :)

We have looked into – and will continue to periodically look at – offering free returns, but at this current time we kindly ask our customers to cover the cost of returning unwanted items. In the meantime, the prices of our products take into account the fact that a free returns service isn’t in place.

Bad product

I had no problem with their service and the products arrived very quickly although the products were not as shown on the web page. I ordered 2 animal patterned cat suits (one zebra and one leopard). They looked perfectly fine on the web page but as when they arrived and when I tried them on, they were INCREDIBLY see-through, which was not fit for the purpose of a children's parade day. I had no trouble from them while sending it back and got a full refund although I had to play £6 for posting it back.

The experience of ordering was easy and painless. I received timely emails with updates and the costume arrived super quick. The costume itself was a good quality.

I like the way they recommended the additional body paint with the outfit which saved me time.

I have used Jokers a couple of times for various weird and wonderful fancy dress items and have never had any problems with them. Their items are always despatched on time and well packaged. Their costs are competitive too.
What more can I say? They do what they say on their website :o)

Great service, though bit pricy. The costume JUST fitted, it was sized at 16-18 but it was small for 18. It was also short and I had to buy trousers to make it decent! However; good quality,very effective, and comfortable to wear.

I do think the outfit is a bit pricey, but then again for fancy dress i suppose I'm not keen on spending a lot of money especially as its a fundraising event....!! Anyway, the outfit is a bit on the big side and for my delicate skin I found the underskirt a bit itchy. But on the whole I think the outfit is good quality, was exactly as described and the service was very efficient. I would recommend the company.

Ordered two outfits hoping one would suit. Slightly apprehensive about the returns process but everything good. Kept one returned one simple as sent one back and refund processed within a couple of days. Really happy customer.

Great well made outfit

Great outfit well made and got lots of good comments when I wore it

Great service and delivery time, but sometimes quality of costumes is low.

The variety of costumes and accessories is great. There isn't much that you can't get. The delivery is within a few days. But sometimes the costumes have seams that haven't been stitched properly or an attaching stitch has been know to come away halfway through the event, leaving people scurrying for safety pins or cotton. I think quality checking would solve this.

Very good customer service

I phoned up to enquire about a costume for my tall 11year old son. He was heading to the Glasgow 7's Rugby match that weekend and I could not find any Marvell Character Costumes to fit his size. After phoning all the fancy dress places around about Glasgow, I eventually headed to the internet. The Jokers' s website was easy to navigate and having the pictures of the costumes and the sizes of the actual shoulder to ankle length was great! I phoned up and your customer service department were great. The lady I spoke to was lovely and polite and really helpful. We discussed the best postal option to ensure that I had it in time for the weekend and arranged for it to be delivered to my work. The costume (Batman the Dark Knight) came on time and fitted like a glove. I was really impressed with your service and would not hesitate to recommend you - this is high praise from me!! I am actually a Business Education Teacher and have used your company as an example of Good Customer Care and how to get productive feedback from customers!!

The costume looked good however the quality was alittle rubbish as it started to fray slightly first time out.

I bought the Banana Man outfit with a 60" inflatable banana to accompany. It looked cracking. I scored more birds that night dressed as a super hero then I normally do in standard attire. I would suggest to all ugly blokes to wear as a daily work/socialising outfit to increase their pulling stats. Im wearing mine at the moment.

Ordered Alan the Hangman costume FRiday at 2pm, by 7.30am Saturday morning i had a text telling me my parcel was in the collect box selected. Amazing service, costume was fabulous, my son loved it. Very cool look for last day of year!!

Let down by courier

Ordered item with a Saturday guarantee but courier, couldn't be bothered to attempt delivery! Should have an option to use Royal Mail, would be a lot better.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us with a review. As the retailer we have accepted, processed and dispatched your order on a Saturday service via DPD. This is the service provided by Jokers' Masquerade and fulfilled successfully.

To investigate your comments further, we have contacted DPD, being the delivery agent, to try and ascertain the reason behind the failed delivery of your order. DPD confirm that GPS records show no attempt was made to deliver your parcel. This failure on their part has reflected negatively upon us as the retailer and let you down as one of our valued customers. Please accept our sincere apologies for this.

As delivery is outside of our control we must divorce such issues with that of our own customer services. I understand our team have been speaking directly with you regarding this matter and a full refund of goods and delivery costs has been actioned.
