Neither of my usual suppliers had the printer waste cartridge I needed so I tried LambdaTek. I ordered the cartridge late on Friday 2 December from their website and it arrived on Monday. I'm very pleased to have my printer working again although their price was a lot more than I normally pay hence 4 stars.
My order, Epson N2550 has been treated very fast, and the product is perfect, everything works.
I bought a Buffalo WBMR-HP-G300H-EU ADSL router with the intention of flashing it to DD-WRT which worked perfectly. (Yes this does invalidate your warranty but the benefits are worth it). This removes the WPS WPA / WPA2 security hacking problem and as far as I know it is the only ADSL modem / router that can run this firmware. See http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database and put WBMR-HP-G300H in the search. You will have to select the correct Annex, PPPoA, your VPI, VCI and MTU settings (You get these from your ISP). Choose the option "WBMR-HP-G300H Firmware - Webflash image for first installation" and follow the instructions.
Why did I choose Lambda Tek and not someone else? Well they have good feedback and it was competitively priced (not the cheapest). I felt I could trust them based on their reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Throughout the process they kept me informed with what was happening and when it was being despatched which was very reassuring. It arrived quickly and safely and worked first time out of the box. What more can you ask for?
In terms of the product being sold by them, I would thoroughly recommend that everyone considers upgrading their ADSL routers to DD-WRT Buffalo's. Once it has been flashed with DD-WRT it is extremely secure from wifi hacking. Buffalo make great products and Lambda Tek have chosen wisely by stocking this. Ensuring their product range is top notch is a very wise decision.
On the whole I have only got praise for this company and, yes, I would recommend them to other people.

Just two critics: 1. when the delivery is long (more than two weeks due to order to the builder), it should be mentionned more clearly, because it is written in very small letters.
2. the French phone call never replies. I had to call to the UK who passed me someone in France. When you order to Lambda for the first time, you are a bit worried that no one replies to the phone.. But in the end everything went ok.
Conclusion: I will order again to Lambda without hesitation.
I never used them before and these-days we have to shop around for the best prices, delivery and service. I needed a monitor to be urgently delivered the next working day as mine had just come to the end of life the day before. I checked all the competitors prices and even ordered late (5.pm) but was extremely pleased that they confirmed next day delivery. Not only were the price including delivery the best available but the choice of payment option service was easy allowing me to use various methods I preferred my Amazon login without the need to fill in all details. Sure enough the item came early next morning much to my delight and satisfaction. Perfect, highly professional service and follow up too. I would gladly recommend and reuse them again.
They have a very good service how ever regarding shipment I think i'm over charged and also the packaging of the goods are not so good.
Example i had a server bare-bone ordered and instead that the hard drive were put in a separate box together, the bar-bone server case was open and put inside the loose parts.
While the rest everything ok .
I wanted some specific headphones which usually cost about £25. LambdaTek had them for £5.99 per pair, so I bought three pairs. Ordering was simple, and they were delivered rapidly. I have ordered from them before and had similarly positive experiences on those occasions, too.
My company needed a spare part urgently which wasn't available at a sensible price via our normal distributors. Ordered on EBay without really investigating Lambda Tek, and the component arrived the next day. Was kept updated by email with tracking info, and a follow up email to confirm I had received goods. Will definitely order directly from Lambda Tek again in the future. Excellent service and keenly priced product.
Web site clearly stated "PROSECURE® UNIFIED THREAT MANAGEMENT FIREWALL WITH WIRELESS-N AND VDSL/ADSL2+ " They refused to supply the two missing items, was given the run around by the staff, the second member was so rude when I asked to be put through to a manager, I had to call back after he put me on hold for 10mins, the next chap tried to put me through to the office manager but could not so promised a call back by return, no call back came so I again had to call him back, they all just wanted me to accept they had made a mistake and wait in a whole day for collection and no compensation, I have opened a case with PayPal for a part refund to enable me to purchase the missing items.

Please do not tell lies, your staff member was really nasty when I asked to be transfered to the manager, your manager did not call me back as promised, I spent over 1 hour trying to get this sorted with no help from any member of your staff, your website clearly states the items were included, you wanted me to spend another day waiting for collection and a then a refund, I asked for a timed collection but your manager refused, he offered no compensation for my time dealing with your mistake.
(WITH WIRELESS-N AND VDSL/ADSL2+) NOTE the word "WITH" this is your description not mine your staff agreed you have not supplied these items and you have made a mistake on the website and the Ebay listing please do not say that you could not supply these items, you stock these at £85 + vat and as I pointed out to your manager the cost to you will be less than this and will be less than the cost of the collection and the cost of my time,please stop trying to make out I am doing this out of revenge, I want to warn other people how I have been treated by your company, I purchase lots of IT equipment each year and have never been treated in this way by any other company before when they have made a mistake.

I am not going to wait in a whole day for your collection, I have offered a timed collection before 9am but you have refused, I do not want £100 compensation I want the items that you stated was included in the sale this would cost you app £50 ish, as I clearly said to your manager yesterday so please do not "LIE" this just shows what type of company you are, I have reported you to trading standards etc.
They are now offering a £35 reduction due to not supplying the item they should have, funny how when you start complaining they start talking maybe this is because I paid through PayPal. I have also offered that they can use a cash back credit from this purchase since I will never use this company again, so they now have no reason to not send the missing items.

If you complain to this company they threaten legal action against you.
PayPal asked me to do a "Merchandise charge back" with my bank for the missing items which under UK law I am entitled to do, but Lambda-Tek threatened legal action, what a nasty company all over £63.00
I can't praise the Returns Department enough for going above and beyond to assists me when my printer turned out to be faulty. The whole thing was resolved in 3 days including receipt of a new fully functional unit. Thank you very much.
I ordered a brother LED printer at a very nice price, paid with credit card and received a few days later from UK to France. Very nice service with an Email sent on each step.
Nothing else to say than "I recommend this company to anyone" for both nice low prices and good service.
My video card suddenly died on me so I did a bit of on line searching and found that LambdaTek was the nearest company that listed a range of suitable replacement cards on their site. So I visited their Oxford address only to find that this was not the warehouse where the parts are kept. However it is inhabited by a group of very helpful engineers who tested my dead card, confirming what I suspected. Since they build and service PCs there they did have a small stock of spare cards and fortunately one of them was an ideal replacement for my PC, so I bought it. Oh, and they gave me a cup of coffee whilst we chatted. You don't get that sort of service on the High Street.

Great prices, customer service, quick delivery and no down-points.
A perfect relationship so far - all purchases have turned up ON TIME; and usually cheaper than the competition as well. Issues/queries are courteously dealt with - with no 'attitude' from staff - they're always glad to help.
Can only think of a single negative thing to say about the company: it would be nice to have a proper invoice without the need to make my account a business account and all the legal protection you lose as a consequence.
Spent 2 days trying to get the router to work. Only reply I got was directions to the user manual. There is no UK site of the manufacturers only the supplier. Very confusing ! And frustrating. Gave up for another day.
Don't buy unless you are an expert
I was very pleased to receive my order in just one day from Lambda-tek. The product I ordered was about the lowest price I could find online. It was delivered well-packaged and the online tracking was helpful too.
I had previously tried to order the product from a different online company, Saverstore, but they failed to deliver the product, so I was extremely happy with the Lambda-tek service.
I made the original order consisting of 3 items on 20/06/13 at 13.10 many hours within the next day delivery cut of point. I received an order confirmation email and awaited a despatch notification which failed to arrive that day. No bother. I'd ordered from Lamda-tek before and remembered an unusual system whereby the despatch notification arrived the following morning around the same time as the actual delivery. (Luckily on that occasion I was around to take delivery)
So I called Lamda-tek the following morning half expecting to be told my delivery was actually out for despatch but was instead informed the order hadn't even been processed yet on account of the fact that I'd used Google check out. The representative I spoke to that Friday morning then said he'd process the order immediately and that within minutes I should receive notification which I did but that on account of it now been Friday, I wouldn't receive the items until Monday. He apologized, blaming Google check out (newly added to Lamda-tek) for the delay.
On the Monday I received 2 out of the 3 items and after contacting Lamda-tek was told that because of a "technical" issue, even though the item was in stock it hadn't gone through and I'd have to wait an extra day.
On this occasion , I'm not at all impressed with Lamda-tek and in future will seek the other outlets I normally use (Amazon, Ebuyer, Aria, Scan etc) before I consider them. Especially if the item is urgently needed.
I know this item (a software licence) can be tricky, because of the manufacturer not always being on the ball. So I chose Lambda Tek for ordering through, because have always had good experience with them in the past and felt confident that if there were any issues they would sort them. Sure enough, the manufacturer needed a prod to get it right, and sure enough when I contacted Lambda Tek about it they were right on it with their supplier to make sure that the order was fulfilled properly. Best service from real people. Very pleased.
I made the order on 01 May 2013. On 3 May received a confirmation from Royal Mail: "Your item, posted on 03/05/13 with reference RQ427949801GB has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in BULGARIA". On 20 May I decided to search who is the bulgarian company responsible for delivery. After a short research: Interlogistica. Called them and they saw that the address was visited on 13 May but nobody there. Here is the problem: Interlogistica haven't my phone number to call me because LambdaTek didn't write it on the package. Yes, I know, that Interlogistica must visit the address at least 1 more day between 13 and 20 May - they also had a quilt, but this is other story. That's it. Sorry for my bad English.
Lambda Tek is what online purchasing outfits should be emulating.. I bought a mid-value laptop and throughout the several days of consideration, I found their product specs spot on and detailed. The purchase went smoothly. Even though I had doubts about their stated delivery, they were very prompt and precise. Lambda Tek is an excellent online retailer of technology products!
I am first time purchaser at this store and my whole expirience has been nothing but good. Status and delivery information are top notch. Lambda is shipping via FedEx so there is absolutely excellent tracking possible on the minute exactly. However one small drawbackk has been in my initial order as I somehow forgot to put in my contact number which is absolutely required for the courier. My order status did not change initially and I did not know if stock was a problem. After my email contact I was informed about the missing number which was corrected so that afterwards the processing started really quick. I wish I would have gotten a note about it so there wouldnt have been an inactive timeframe for my order.
A great company to buy from, their high marks on this site are well deserved as my order couldn't have gone any better. They managed to provide my storage array at very competitive prices and the order was delivered on schedule with no unforeseen issues.
I wouldn't hesitate to use LandaTek again, top marks!
