Rang up to find out why my card had not arrived and was told they couldn't be held accountable for royal mail, she then said it would have explained on the delivery confirmation that it may not arrive for 3 days, I said that i'm reading the delivery confirmaton and it doesn't state anywhere she then said that it's in the terms and conditions and then accused me of being aggressive, i then popinted out that I wasn't being aggressive I'm jost pointing out something that you got wrong,

I have used moonpig for years and have sung their praises to everyone, until something finally went wrong today. I ordered 3 cards, got the current offer of 3 for 2, placed my order, then found that the e-mailed confirmation gave me 4 cards instead of three negating the 3 for 2 offer. I sent an e-mail but resolved that it would be quicker to call, I found the phone number was left with a ringing phone for a while before it was finally answered by their call centre. I explained the problem, and he just stated that I obviously selected to copy it, I politely told him that I had not, but was constantly rebutted with that it was my fault. Funnily enough being a web developer I know how websites work, I read every checkbox, ensure every drop down list is on the correct value before submitting any page so this was just insulting.
They did eventually agree to provide me with a refund of the money which was debited from my account but I must say that the person on the end of the phone was arrogant and rude.
Will I use moonpig again - probably, but hopefully I will never have to put up with the arrogant, rude and obnoxious staff which seem to man their call centres.
I recently used moonpig for a fathers day present and when my order arrived the picture on the mug was a black blob and the cards images were unclear . we rang them up and the said the would give us 50 percent off. I thought it should of been free since I saved up for it. I would of thought someone would of rang up since the image wasn't clear and gave me a new one with a new photo. I spent nearly 20 pounds and another 6 pounds making it nearly 26 pounds for poor quality . This has happened to me twice when I ordered my teacher a leaving card and words were changed and words were missing ( I didn't miss them out by the way my mum and dad proof read it). I would certainly not recommend their mugs and always choose a bright picture. I did not know about this and you can ring up for picture quality which I also didn't know about. Maybe they should make this more clear before you click add to basket. Hopefully. this has been helpful.
I ordered some flowers to say sorry. They arrived on time. However were wilted or dead. My girlfriend was not impressed and, I don't blame her, binned them. For me, it was a waste of £30 but more so, it was very embarrassing, if not humiliating.
I have ordered many cards from Moonpig and was a long-standing customer. First time I ordered flowers, first time I complained.
Their customer service was worst than the flowers. No apology but an offer of 10% off on my next order. These kinds of offers are moronic. A moron would think it's good enough to offer the customer and only a moron would accept.
They said that for them to "review" a refund, they would need pictures of the flowers. I explained that given that the flowers were sent with a MASSIVE I'm sorry card, you can imagine it would be hard for me to get pictures from the recipient. And of course, it is quite embarrassing to ask.
They said well, tough.
I have stopped ordering from them because frankly, customer service of this type stinks more than wilted flowers.
Moonpig did not care when I phoned to say my delivery which should have arrived on Tuesday was still not there by Thursday. I ordered it on the Saturday and paid for special delivery ....still no card and present. So great, my dad doesn't get his things on his birthday.
I emailed, NO reply and I phoned to simply get an uncaring woman say 'I apologise'.
She did nothing more to keep my custom other then refund my special delivery charge - NATURALLY ! I reiterated I was a regular customer and I was very dissatisfied to again get a sorry. Companies should really review their customer service as it is repeat custom that they rely on. IDIOTS.
Five years ago I left all my family in the UK to live in beautiful British Columbia Canada. When it comes to special occassions for my family far away moonpig are lifesavers for me. I dont have the best memory and if I didnt think a whole month in advance about buying a card (average price in BC $5-$6) then to mail it in good time for it to get there before the birthday, mothers day etc.... (Cost for airmail to UK around $7)
I have been able to make the most beautiful personal cards for my family with moonpig. I LOVE the upload photo option... Finally cards worth keeping FOREVER!!
The fact you can write exactly what you want in the card is fantastic, the amount of times Ive picked up cards in a store that I liked only to be so dissapointed with the "tacky verse" inside that was so far from appropriate for person in mind.
Because of my latest order I just had to give moonpig a review on the stella service I ALWAYS get from them. I can only speak for the card service as I have never purchased the gift option.
I recently ordered a beautiful photo card for my sister that I was able to edit with the effects option to make a collage of childhood photos of us a gorgeous sepia tone. And at just around $6 total Ive saved myself time and money :D WIN WIN!!
Clicking on next available date, as it was early friday morning UK time, I fully expected it to arrive on Monday which was great and would still be in good time for my Sisters bday.... Within 24hrs I couldnt believe it!!! My Sister had put a photo of the card on facebook saying how much she loved it and couldnt wait til her bday to open it!!! It was printed and delivered the very next morning! BRAVO MOONPIG!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you! Its because you of you I no longer get ripped off by card prices and mailing costs. Keep up the good work and I will continue to spread the good word to people like me with family and friends far away.
This was a gift for my birthday from my daughter and (as she was at great pains to tell me) not cheap. The flowers were cut and the stems wrapped in a large square of wet absorbant paper. athe box was large and left plenty of room for the flowers to arrive undamaged. They arrived late in the afternoon and as soon as they arrived I plced them in water along with the flower food. For two days the flowers failed to open and on the third day they had begun to die. I have sent and recieved many bouquets from Moonpigs main rival and have always been more than satisfied. This present was a lovely thought that was let down by the company. Bad show Moonpig!
Very easy to order online and easy to add on little extras to give your loved ones..... if they can get the order right that is.....
They seem like a good company to use in normal everyday situations......
HOWEVER ........ they dont seem to be able to cope with big events like christmas. valentines. or mothers/ fathers day.
I ordered some flowers for my mum, ( very limited option) with balloons , a vase, a teddy and chocolates.... no bear came with the order (even though the card and balloons were the same theme) instead they threw in some nasty bubble bath that i could have picked up in tesco for £1 and thought i wouldnt complain about this..... think again !!!
When calling i told them to get the courier to take it back.....which they wouldnt do... they have sent me out a teddy and credit my moon pig account with £10 but thats pretty pointless because if they think i would use them again they are sadly mistaken ..
( its not like i spent chump change on the products, it was a fortune !!!!) ill take my money elsewhere next time !!
I ordered flowers, a vase, and a card for mother's day as I live so far away from my Mum. I ordered on Friday and paid for a Saturday delivery. They arrived Saturday morning, and my mum is over the moon with them. First time I've dealt with Moonpig and it's been superb, nice and convenient too.
Terrible company with no customer service at all. Ordered card and flowers for my wife as I was away for Valentines day week on a training course. Was aware there would be a huge demand so ordered back in January. Delivery was not made and card was still printing on the 14th. When I tried to contact them (a number of times) they did not respond. Money was taken from my account in January and despite numerous requests, has not been refunded.
We later found that the package had been delivered to my wife's place of work after they had closed for the day and she had left for the weekend! Awful service - avoid!
This is the first and last time I will use moonpig as they spend so much on advertising to get you to order then can't actually fulfil all there orders and let you know at 1330 on valentines day, when will large companies work out that if they take an order people are relying on them to deliver, I'm going back to using my more expensive but reliable local florist next year.
Can't believe how frustrating this company is !!!! You spend ages making a card on line then it and the flowers never show up !!!!

Just spend 2 hours making a card and then there was some payment issue on all my cards. Called the number they asked me to call and could not get through for 1 hours and then all my products had disappeared out of the basket. What a terrible website
Fast, efficient and reliable service. I have taken advantage of the pre-pay option which has meant that I can order a card and get it on its way from my mobile within a couple of minutes. Great when I've forgotten a birthday - delivery is usually next day. Everyone who has received a moonlight card has been delighted with it. Thank you moonpig.
Was able to create personalized save the date cards on this websites. Website was easy to navigate, cards were created and delivered promptly, and well packaged. In addition prices are very reasonable! Would recommend this company
