i buy all the tyres for my two cars from national tyres. The price and service is always first class. I also recomend them for wheel alignment.
I have a very busy life and so I find it very convenient to be able to sit at my computer, with my Outlook calendar in front of me, and book and pay for the MOT in just a few minutes. I also get the MOT at half price and they will send me a reminder for the next one. The reminder is something that gives me peace of mind because it is all too easy to forget when the car needs testing. It also acts as a trigger for me to get the car serviced at the same time, at the same place. I think National Tyres and Autocare have got it completely right.
I found the website easy to use not being very computer savy. It was good to see a selection of tyres and prices available. Iwould reccommend to a friend this website.
There is also online chat service to answer any questions or concerns one may have no matter what time of day or night!
I have yet to have my tyres fitted but hopefully there will be no problems.
Thank you.
Easy peasy to get new tyres at good price been there before great deals.
I found the website quite simple to use and liked the idea that it gives you the address and local telephone number of the branch you are going to use. It did take a few attempts to find the branch as I had to increase the distance finder to maximum but the branch was less than 20 miles away.
EASY TO USE SITE, CHEAPEST ON THE NET AND I SEARCHED EVERYWHERE! HAVE USED NATIONAL BEFORE FOR TYRE FITTING IN HULL, GOOD SERVICE.
I originally gave a five star review based on how easy it was to order online and the layout of national website.
And with that in mind I booked and paid for a oil and filter change on my car.
Having used this branch before all be it with different staff I was confident they would do a good job.
How wrong I was.having booked the car in online for the work to be carried out in the afternoon I called the branch in the morning to arrange a time that would be suitable to us both and was told 3pm would be fine.
On arriving at their branch at 2.50pm I was told no way mate we are up to our eyes in it come back at 4pm. No apology just come back later.
So I had to phone around to change my appointments plus cancel a Doctors appointment.
Came back at 4pm only to find them working on the same cars plus a new one that had come in eventually a mechanic asked for my keys and started to set to work on my car.
First he could not open the bonnet despite me telling him the bonnet pull was on the passenger side he was trying to find it on the drivers side he then removed the sump guard then tried to remove the oil filter despite the fact that he had only just removed the sump plug resulting in him and the bottom of my car getting covered in oil ( yes I know oil filters still contain oil but there is a right way and a wrong way of removing a oil filter)
He could not quite see what he was doing even with the aid of a lamp so he decided lighting up a fag (cigarette ) would help.
When it came to filling up the engine with oil I did point out that particular car was a very slow filler which he replied that he knew that as he has done loads of them before (yeh right) by which time he spilled a pint and half of oil all over my engine and floor when the oil had overflowed.
Finally after an hour and fifty minutes he told me the job was complete as he stood there with my bonnet stay in his hand after he managed to pull that off.
While all this farce was going off I asked one of his colleagues if he would not mind checking my tyre pressures which he did with his magic tyre pressure gauge and told me all four tyres were 3 PSI down but all was now fine as he but in some of his invisible magic air.
Does National Tyres think we are all stupid?. he had not even touched the Tyres.
God knows what oil is in or in my case all over the engine its supposed to be Castrol edge as the car is a turbo diesel.
I'm on holiday right now but I think I shall get Renault to check the car over for piece of mind..
BTW I had to get the car washed and the bonnet waxed to get rid of all the oily finger marks.
So having booked the car in at 3pm I managed to escape the place at 5.55pm
Two hours and fifty five minutes to do a oil and filter change.
the staff were helpful and friendly and I am really pleased with the tyres.
I always find them good on price and really value the free guarentee which you receive on tyres bought online.
i was very happy with the work carried out at this branch
Mechanics are well trained and they do good work
If you need anything done in your car, national tyres will do it very good with a reasonable price
At the end of a days work simple easy straight forward way of getting things sorted without going from person to person or on hold for next available operator will have the rest of my vehicles dealt in the same way. Well done and Thank you
As long as you know your tyre size the rest is done for you. Just select the make you need and order for a local fitting. Two for one makes this cheaper.
Easy process to place order and arrange time to get it done. Would have prefered to see the cost of tracking and valve etc to be included in the cost on the first screen when choosing the tyre make and not only on the final screen for payment.
Quick reliable service that is second to none. Would highly recommend.
I rang to order tyres and spoke to John at Leeds Gelderd Rd. He was very helpful and i would recommend friends and family to national tyres in the future.
We shall see how tyre fitting goes and if they stick to the date and time?
I booked my MOT online. I had the choice of centres, dates and times when I could take my car in and the best thing? I used the code I had been sent free for registering for an MOT reminder and I got 50% off the price!
And ... the email I got says I can get certain tyres on a buy 2 for 1 price and also if I need any remedial work I'll get another 10% off too - can't lose really :)
i have now used national tyres online service a couple of times , and found the prices and service to be very good ,i will always use them in future .
Easy to use website to select tyres and make booking. Good value compared with other nationals.
I always use National Tyres.
They do an excellent job at a good price.
Their service is always friendly & accommodating.
I cannot fault them.
I never need to shop around as they cannot be beaten in any respect.
I made a booking online, booking was confirmed for tomorrow morning on checking with the branch I get told that the tyres won't be delivered until 2pm, no apologies, person on the phone had a couldn't care less attitude and a refund was made difficult. will not buy again!
Website clear. Whole process made very easy. Prices competitive.
Friendly No Fuss Service Every time! Highly Recommend!
No nonsence prices, very straight forward and easy to use website, if the oil change is good, then I'll go back anytime. Really nice to see prices upfront.
Had good service on the few times I have been for various reasons, ( new tyres, puncture, MOT)
i have been online and have found national tyres oil change good value for money and good service. it is quite easy to fill in details and would tell you to do the same.
I have gone for the Avon special offer buy one get one free for a good quality tyre
Called by to see if any tyre offers were on, sorted in 35 minutes with 2 new ones and very resonable rate having scoured the internet previously. Going back today for full synthetic oil change and filter for £38. THE OIL ALONE IS NEARLY THAT!! This is a web price and the store could not match it if I just called in so look at the website! Bets of luck...
I can never remember details like the tyre size, so being able to type in my regristration number to get this information was very helpful.
I also think I got a very good price. (Special offer)
Very cheap oil change but they can charge an extra £5-10 depending on the sump tray.
