Dealing with Nationwide was new to me. I only had to speak to one person, Jenny Acton, so I still don't know how big the organisation is and what else it does to earn a living. I do know they provide cars with a minimum of fuss, total efficiency, clear explanation of process and commitments and a level of ease that I have never received from general car dealers.
I compared their pricing with several other "similar" organisations and found none better.
Will I use them again?
Nationwide made this the easiest way of getting a new car. Brilliant customer service from Chris who answered all my queries quickly and efficiently. On the day it was due to be delivered it arrived at 8 in the morning! Just fantastic
Placed order for my Alfa Guilietta , the original car was not in stock, so I upgraded to an in stock car and it was delivered within 4 weeks. The sales team are always aware of your needs, the website is by far the easiest and most realistic site that I used, in comparison to other competitors. There was no hidden charges and the delivery of the vehicle was faultless. The sales representative always kept us updated with regular emails. The delivery driver was very pleasant and enjoyed his trip upto Scotland , that's because he was driving an Alfa :)
The car is amazing , this is realistically the only way to have a brand new car without worrying about its resale value.
The kids love the red Italian stitched seats and the black alloys. My husband just loves the ride and performance.
I was looking for a new pick-up tuck for my business and didn't have the time to go round all the garages to get quotes and to negotiate, I phoned Nationwidevehiclecontracts and got a quote within ten minutes then confirmation that my new truck would be delivered within a week!
As was their word, the truck came within a week, to a convenient address so I didn't loose any time away from the business and there was little to no paperwork to fill in,
I have never thought of using this type of service before but after this experience we will get all our cars and trucks from NVC
We were really pleased with the service that we were offered by Brad Smith at Nationwide, from the initial enquiry through to the final delivery he was extremely professional. He helped when our original vehicle wasn't able to be delivered and source alternatives (Transporter Sportline)
My experience over the years with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts has been very positive. I have now privately leased three vehicles with them and have had no difficulties whatsoever.
Really pleased with the car, delivery was easy, driver even offered to clean it before he dropped it off. Car is fantastic at a great price but this is the best I can say.
Information and communication from nationwide is severely lacking. As first time lease customers we had no clue how the process works and had to keep asking questions the whole way through in order to get information.
Customers should be given a guide as to what happens when, and what will be paid when (and how) , instead of being left to wonder and subsequently worry.
I even had to REQUEST that paperwork was sent out!!
Great car but lack of communication from Nationwide = poor customer service.
Pricing errors in the early stages were resolved and explained. Some confusion around payments schedule. Kept me well informed throughout. Easy to contact and any action required was completed quickly. Car delivered a few hours later than scheduled, but driver kept me informed.
I needed a car pretty quickly and was very pleased with the swift response and helpful the staff were. I was really satisfied with the entire service and received my new car within 3 weeks, in great condition. I would recommend Nationwide to any of my friends.

Found nationwide online and went with them because they were cheapest for the car I wanted, from the first phonecall the service was great. The only problem I encountered was a delay in confirming that I wanted to go ahead and receiving my paperwork. The car itself is gorgeous and cheaper then anywhere else. Once I rang to chase up the paperwork I had it within a day and from nationwide receiving the signed documents my car arrived within 2 days. Friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
They are great, friendly and really helpful to deal with. I spoke with lots of members of the Nationwide team but they were all informed and knew all about my order. Sometimes when you deal with lots of different people at a firm, the experience is disjointed and you get frustrated because they aren't up to date; but not with Nationwide - it was a pleasure to deal with them, and I recommend them to anyone. The thing that stood out to me was my advisor, Sarah. I knew that she had listened to me and what I was all about.
She rang at times she knew were convenient for my job / lifestyle. She asked relevant questions and offered suggestions according to my home life / worries. She reassured me about my choices, by sharing some of herself with me, knowing that she understood me and my needs.
I also felt that everything went smoothly, the paperwork, the delivery, payments etc.

The website was dead easy to use, after some time, I stopped pretending I could stretch to an Aston Martin and looked for cars in my price bracket. lots of choice and some great deals. I put a request in for a quote, then changed my mid 3 times before going back to my first quote. The chap was very helpful and never once told me to 'naff off'! I confirmed my order and was told 3-4 weeks for delivery, I thought that was a joke but sure enough it turned up on time. The whole process was easy and hassle free. The only issue which still annoys me is Gap Insurance, don't get me wrong, there was no hard sell. I just hate the concept. I don't know why I ever bought a car, from now on my motto is - "if it depreciates- lease it!"
All went well, apart from a minor problem to do with the vehicle insurance, which was complicated because my policy was in its last few days, and had to be changed to the new vehicle and also had to start a new year with a new certificate but no complaints.
When seeking a replacement car at the end of an existing lease, we found that Nationwide Vehicle Contracts offered a quick and easy process - prices up front, plenty of choice, good communications and a realistic delivery date. What more could we ask for really?
The communication was good, clear and had regular updates but felt misled as I was told the car was 'in stock' and I could have in 2-3 weeks. It was actually almost 6 weeks after order that it was delivered.
Sarah and the Nationwide team in Stockport have an excellent customer service ethic which is missing in most UK companies these days, I've already recomended them to a family member. We love our new car and are happy with the excellent stress free service we have recieved.

Great rates; excellent communication; fantastic selection of vehicles; friendly customer service. The only thing that disappointed me was my expectation being set that I would have the car in "one to two weeks" when, in reality, it took closer to four. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend the company to anyone and would certainly use again.

We found out about NVC from a friend who has a contract hire car from them. At the time we were considering upgrading my wife's car anyway and were shopping around for the best deal. Once I'd checked the NVC website, I realised that any other option would be silly as no-one else would be able to offer us the same vehicle at the same price.
My first direct contact with NVC was minutes after I'd initially gotten the quote off the website and hit the apply button. The friendly consultant assisted me all the way through the process of arranging the vehicle. Due to the fact that we needed the car as soon as possible, we weren't able to get all the optionals I'd originally put on the quote, nor could we get the colour that my wife wanted, however considering the turn around time we were happy enough to go with the options provided. Had we been able to wait two more weeks for the options and colours we would have. Either way the service was excellent.
Excellent communication from NVC throughout, and I will definitely use them again and recommend that others do.
I have never leased a car before, I phoned up and spoke to a guy called Adam Nutsey. Gave me all the information I needed. I decided to proceed. And from start to finish, he has been an absolute star. Couldn't have asked for better service from him. I would 1000% recommend to everyone I speak to. Absolutely brilliant.
