its good almost the best maybe

i looked for reviews before buying this software as i always do! it had a few negatives here and this put me off! but the phppa staff were polite and helpful so something didnt add up...... either some people had really bad experiences or some of the reviews were not real! or maybe both who knows? but the point is, i am happy with my purchase and the software has some good features that others do not. this was the tipping point for me .... a regular update interval was also a big thing to look for. my developer friend looked at their sight before i bought it and contacted the sales teams through 2 different addresses and they were so helpful. i would say that if i had to write negative comment here it would be that the price can be high when you start adding plugons but this is always the case with a lot of businesses!

A useful application that scales

Application was deployed quickly to our cloud server and we have had nginx installed and been finetuning it. It is robustly built and I cannot find fault with the Support Team. Over all, a positive experience and that is coming from someone who just came from a terrible experience with a scammy Canadian penny auction app maker! Give phpPennyauction a go.

quick AND responsive

Very quick! I must say they answered our questions quickly and in polite manner, and we are keen to work with them in the longterm. I think people expect too much from companys like this. Of course, you cannot be a novice and run a business, it is not like that !

Competitive price, good service, friendly staff

I got different quotes before buying the software and decided that it was the cheapest option to go with phppa, they sa`id they could beat the quote(s) I received if it was for the same thing. Overall I am very pleased with the website and business, they even installed ssl certificate for me which was normally chargeable!! So... thanks

not bad

i spoke with the sales team before buying the software, and we discussed a template that i wanted created alongside some additional work. the time quoted was reasonable, i was also waiting on quotes from other script sellers but they didnt get back to me or the quotes were really high. my developers have installed the script now and we are waiting on the template that we ordered, which was quoted 10 days, which is a very fast turnaround i am told. i would recommend scriptmatix/phppenny to others based on the fast response times and profesionalism i have recieved thusfar.

Fast service

I downloaded the software instantly after purchasing, there was no waiting around. I followed the auto installation software to install it onto my computer and it's working. If I had to find some issues with it, I would say that their email support could be quicker.

No Support unless you are buying something then they dissapear.

We have had this software for three months now and have had a total of three real responses from support even though we opted for the 6 months support package. Its impossible to get a reply and when we have had a reply it has not been of any use to us. Every additional option is a costly plugin and installation is impossible.

Bad Script, Bad Service

This script is horrible. It works fine until you actually have more than 1 or 2 people using it, then it craps out. There are also many bugs and exploits to which there are no patch.

Don't event think about using this with shared hosting. The script itself is a resource hog which will get get your site jailed daily and throttled constantly.

The service is also extremely bad and I feel like they don't know their trade. It takes them forever respond and usually the answer is no good. They always want to log into your live system, which tells me they don't know how their own script works and want to tinker with your live site.

Overall had many problems, so avoid at all costs.

I am happy with the company and their software, cannot fault their repsonse to my questions and we bought it a few days ago going great!

Helpful service

Went with php penny auction after deciding which to go for. They have helped me to get the service up and running, cannot fort their support staff namely karen and clint. It was a surprise to get a reply at the weekend to my query aswell.

We have paid for $1850 some work, that Never were delivered. We can never get in touch of them, and we can not get our payment back from 2CheckOut or Paypal.

Don't work with them they will cheat you!!!

Nice guys

Nice people, did my customization request within 72 hours, which is faster than promised. Polite, responsive, can't fault the product. Went with them because alternative scripts seem badly coded and have support in India, which I have awful experiences with. English support here, no complaints.

Support Suck!!

initially when I chat with their sale team, it seems everything is okay. They are kind and responsive. However, things get worst after we purchased the script. The script is not easy to install like they said in their website. There are only 2 template included in the script, and hardly to customize. Yes, their support team will help you out to solve the problem, but their response are very slow. They only answer me a technical support ticket that you submitted a day, Yes, one ticket a day, and if you have too many problem to ask, they will ask you to hire their support team to fix it, of course you have to pay for it.

So it is not recommended to buy this script if you are not strong in programming skill. They are suck!!
