Easily ordered and received very quickly.
We were so glad to find a carrier of the Selene wine we had at a restaurant. It is so delicious and we were afraid we would only be able to have it when we went out. Thanks to Saratoga, we are able to drink it at home. Thanks for your prompt delivery.

Really pleased to find these rare wines, and at the most competitive prices I've seen anywhere. Everything was totally smooth. "Smoother 'na butt," as we say in Iowa. I will definitely use Saratoga Wine Exchange next time.

They had the wine I was searching for!!
I had a fairly inexpensive wine at a local restaurant that had such a great taste! I inquired the name, and was so disappointed to be given a hard time at my local wine and spirit store to order it for me. After searching I found the Saratoga Wine Exchange had my wine! I ordered 12 bottles and received them the following week. Great service keeping me up to date with my order by emails also. Just a little disappointed with the high shipping costs. That they could do better on!

great selection
They had a great selection to choose from. I liked the fact that I received a phone call telling me that one item I ordered was out of stock and he asked me if I wanted to just cancel that bottle or if I wanted to have something else replace it.
My only gripe was the shipping costs. I know the bottles are heavy and expensive to ship but I have ordered things from other places that ended up being even heavier and I was given free shipping for spending over a certain amount. I think if they offered a free shipping for anything over $200 purchase I would order from them all the time.
Other than that I am very happy with the purchases. The bottles were packed well and arrived undamaged and I am enjoying trying all the new wines.

I had a hard time processing my order on line, so I gave them a call. The gentleman was very helpful and friendly. I received my order in 4 business days, regular shipping rate, and it was in package so that my purchase would be safe. I also like the fact they sent me a email to let me track my package. I would use them again!!

ordered on monday, shipping advice on thursday, shipped on monday (correctly as it was to travel 2000 miles, arrived on friday though sans paking slip. good service.

It could have been better.
My order was not in stock, when I called to fine out when it would be shipped. I was told it would be in the next week, and I would be notified of the shipment date.
However, I was not emailed of the shipment or called. The package just appeared
at my front door, a week and half later. I was looking to be told of the shipment date.
The package was left in the rain all day and I could have told a neighbor to look out
for it. I was able to save the contents.

Great wine but took too long
This site is reliable & inexpensive. My family enjoyed this wine but it took two weeks for it to ship from the day the order was placed. We live in Oklahoma to give you an idea of the distance. I would've rated it 5 stars but the shipping took too long & I understand that even though I paid the extra $ for a 2day shipping.. it wouldn't ship till they had it in the shipping dept. Atleast now I know how much time in advance to order. Great wine(Sella & Mosca Cannonau Di Sardegna Riserva)

Awful Customer Service!
I ordered two cases of wine to be delivered for the Superbowl, on January 25th.
When the wine arrived, on January 31st, the sent the wrong wine. So I had to ship it back. There was NO help from the person who handled the return. They made the mistake, they provided the shipping label, yet they told me I had to wait for my wine which I ordered and paid for, until the wine I was returning was recieved by them.
It's utterly ridiculous, they paid for ground return, so that's an additional 3 day waiting period. It's FEBRUARY 12th and my wine has NOT shipped from them.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!

good wine, confusing ordering and shipping experience
Once it shipped, the wine arrived quickly and undamaged. But it was a confusing process, since I never got an email confirmation for my order, and for several days just assumed that the order hadn't gone through at all. Then I got an email with a tracking number, saying my order had shipped. Then the order arrived. THEN, I got an email saying "Your wines are ready to go and will be shipped on our next scheduled shipping day."
If they would add an order confirmation email and send the status emails in the right order, then I would definitely add another star.

Sorry for the confusion with your order. Our system is set up to send an email confirmation as soon as you complete your order. Sometimes we have found that this initial email gets sent to peoples spam folder, especially if it is the first time you have ordered from us.
I am not sure why the other emails would not have come in order - you should get one at each step of the process.
I will look into this and see if there is a technical problem with the site sending emails.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - STAY AWAY!
I routinely order cases of wine from various companies . We ordered a case of wine early in January....as of Feb 1 we still have not received it. They keep telling us it is on the way - one excuse after another. They evidently don't have the wines that they advertise in stock. They must have to order them when you order them so it takes forever to get them. The tracking number that they sent us from Fedex is invalid so we have no idea if our wines have even been sent. They still have not sent us a valid tracking number. I will NEVER order from them agian. I would have given them one no stars but I was not able to.

Hard to find on the West coast
I have been searching for this wine for sometime and finally found out that I could purchase via the internet. I am pleased to be able to get this and am please with the purchase. The only complaint I have is I made the order in time for one of the shipping dates, they coordinated with the delivery company (Fedex), however it sat for another week before picking up, hence it was never delivered on the date originally planned. This hasn't detered me from expectations of ordering again in the future.
