Perhaps a new delivery solution is needed...?
I would certainly recommend The Big Kitchen Centre, indeed I have and my neighbours are both buying new appliances from them as they are both having kitchen remodelling carried out at the moment,
The website was easy to navigate and their range of stock is impressive with appliances and budgets to suit everyone.
My only gripe was the delivery method. CityLink were exactly efficient, I was assured that the delivery company would have my mobile number so they could call if there were any problems. Just to make doubly sure I even left a note on the front door - advertising the fact my house was empty - saying that I work 2 minutes away and will come post haste to give them access to deliver the appliance I ordered. I heard nothing all day and returned home to find a 'Sorry we've missed you' card on the mat. A second delivery was arranged with CityLink and this time I did receive a call and delivery was made with the minimum of fuss.

a first class job done well
i bought an oven .. they processed the order swiftly and delivered it with no fuss. They did everything as well as could be expected. I would definitely use them again

Competitive priced goods
The goods are competitive but very disappointed with customer contact with deliveries had to stay in all day waiting with no call to say would deliver within a specified hours think you need to take a leaf out of appliances on line their delivery is second to none!!!

fantastic
I ordered an oven and hob with extracter fan and filters all came on time no problems no damages and was fantastic value i would reccommend to anyone, fantastic job thank you big kitchen centre.

Still have not received it.
Ordered more than 5 days before. Still have not received the washing machine. I tried calling them few times but nobody is picking up the phone. I am not upset that they did not deliver the washing machine in time I am really angry that they have not called us yet or email us about the status at all if there is any stock problem or any other problem.

Poor Service but price was the best
Item purchased was a cooker hood but was not given a delivery date immediately or updated on the progress of the order. After a week I chased the order and I was told there was a delay with the delivery. Another week later again I had to chase the order and was told the item was discontinued and no longer available. However I was offered a replacement at no extra cost. Delivery was quick but despite being told I would be called by the delivery company I did not. A good job my neighbour was around to take delivery for me.

Item not in stock and difficult to get a refund
I purchased a oven and hob pack, but after waiting a week for delivery. I finally got through to the customer services and they told me the hob was out of stock, but would be in soon. After two weeks and many un-answered phone calls I cancelled my order. It then took 26 days and a report to Paypal to get my money back.
Worst internet transaction I have ever made!

Not as bad as some people make out!
Ordered a new cooker, mainly on price and this company was the best and ordered it on a Wednesday and it was delivered the following Monday just as I was told it would be, nice and early so I had plenty of time to connect it. I cannot fault the firm at all, 5 stars from me so far!

Refund will take 30 days if your item is not even available from stock!
Having made an online purchase with the tagline of 'in stock for quick delivery' i was then informed it was no longer available. On requesting a refund i was told it had been passed to accounts and will be processed within 30 days!
Absolutely terrible service and not to be trusted.
I am left out of pocket awaiting their very casual response.

Poor customer service
Next day delivery actually took 4 days, the reasons very bluntly and with no apologies told to me, cooker hood though was a good price and transaction went smoothly.

Good communication and fast dispatch
I was looking for a good quality hob to replace my existing one that I had broken but they all seemed to be very expensive , I came across the big kitchen centre as I was browsing and they had the hob I wanted at the cheapest price I could find . Their communication emails were very good , I felt like I knew exactly the progress of my order and when it would be dispatched - even the delivery driver was helpful and polite . I will go back to this company if I need kitchen equipment in the future .

fantastic prices and service
ordered an oven hob and hood package. Fantastic price! Fantastic quality! Didn't have the oven I ordered, but was offered an upgrade at no extra cost to me. Delivered within 36 hours from dispatch date! Perfect! Exactly as it says on the website! Have just ordered my sink and tap package today! Well done the big kitchen centre! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Good Service and price
Ordered an oven and hob which was stated as in stock. Received an Email after almost a week informing me that the oven was not available, however I was offered a free oven upgrade. Once accepted the oven and hob arrived within a couple of days. They were well packaged and delivered on the day stated. The price was the best around and even better with an upgraded oven. Things go wrong in life and its how companies deal with these problems that make us return as customers. I have no problems with using this company again nor recommending them to others.

Excellent Service
Purchased a cooker hood on the Sunday. Called the company on the Monday to arrange delivery with a very friendly and helpful member of staff. The item was great value for money and arrived in excellent condition on the date arranged. I have already recommended this company to family members.

Bought a electric oven/gas hob from these guys..Only gripe being delivery.. purchased Sunday delivered Thursday after quoting "in stock, next working day delivery" = Tuesday ? I would defo use this company again though because of the price

So far delighted with products and price
Ordered cooker, hob, extractor fan, sink and taps. All arrived ok. Very pleased with the brand names at the price we paid. Free delivery a bonus too.
Although we have yet to fit the items as the new kitchen is being fitted next week, at the moment I am very pleased with the service. Fingeres crossed they will work when fitted.

Great prices, great items available, shocking after sales service.
Waited longer than most seem to, had four emails stating delivery date, waited all day and heard nothing. after many attempts to contact them about it, i am offered no compensation for the days wages they cost me, nor did the delivery driver contact me to say it wasn't going to be delivered. all in all, a severe lack of communication between the seller and the buyer straight after you pay for your items! won't be using this company again no matter how cheap they are as it cost me almost double to accommodate their vague delivery times. not impressed and not a happy customer.

Good Price, Delivery driver very helpful. Big Kitchen were a day late in delivering
I chose Big KItchen due to the price and variety of products available.
I chose a date for delivery that was convenient to my builders, as we were having a new kitchen fitted.
I emailed to ask what the ETA was, to which I received a reply to say the order had got lost in the system, and there would be no delivery!
After putting my foot down, they eventually agreed to call the courier back so that it would be delivered the next day, which is was.
The products were spot on and the delivery driver was very helpful.
I would recommend this company, however I would call a couple of daya before to make sure that delivery happens on time

Best price on the web
We have just fitted a four zone ceramic hob purchased from The Big Kitchen Centre. Not only was it the best price I could find on the web, but it also came with free delivery. Delivery time wasn't the fastest I have experienced, but it was over the New Year period which could account for the slight delay. We were out when it arrived, but it was dropped to a nearby post office for collection, which made things very simple. All in all a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Big Kitchen Centre to anyone.

Delivery very quick arrived in one piece top marks
Just installed unit a micro wave combi. Looks very good I hope that it works as well as it looks. External and internal finishes are very good. Price also good compared to main manufactures, about half the price if you can find a spec near this unit. No trouble using the companies web purchase site. This being day one I hope that I do not have to write another review to the contary.

Great Company - Unless you require a refund
I ordered a sink which was delivered within a few days but unfortunately I needed to return the sink because the underside of the left hand drainer was not flat but pyramid shaped. I telephoned the kitchen centre and paid for a courier to come and collect the sink to return which they did on the 27th October. I am still waiting for my refund despite speaking to customer services twice and several emails.

Excellent Value for money
I ordered a sink and taps package which was far cheaper than anywhere else I tried by miles. Delivered within a couple of days had emails to keep me informed of the progress all delivered well packaged as promised. I have recommended to a friend who will also be using The Big Kitchen as will I when require more appliances.

Great range of quality products at a great price
We chose to call and see the showroom at Pallion and were impressed by the friendly and honest approach, The range of kitchen appliances is very comprehensive and this great local company is highly recommended. We purchased a kitchen extractor hood at a great price and would certainly do business again .

Very good company, only delivery driver let them down
Ordered a microwave from The Big Kitchen and totally smooth transaction and communication. Excellent product, I would not hesitate to use them again, but the delivery driver was NOT helpful. My husband has COPD and asked for help but the driver was all health and safety!! We have had other items delivered when the driver could not do enough for us, but hey ho that's how it goes. Great Service
I ordered my oven, hob, extractor and sink package on a Wednesday and I had confirmation that it would be delivered on Friday, First thing Friday mornong I had a very apologetic phone call saying that they were out of stock of the oven, and the it would be delivered on Thursday. On thursday morning I had a phone call saying the my order would be delivered at around 2 pm, it arrived at 11.45. Great service, great friendly comunication.
