I ordered Raki from this compay and it arrived barely three days later... beautifully wrapped. Wow you should have seen all the bubble wrap...What fun!!! Haven't tasted the contents yet as the Raki was a birthday present.- hope he lets me have a taste!

poor packaging
when ordering an expensive bottle of brandy i would expect it to arrive in a box rather than bubble wrap especially as this was a gift not impressed with the packaging

When shipping expensive items, we will normally remove these from their packaging and have the bottles bubble-wrapped. The boxes are packed seperately to the bottle, but sent within the same shipping box.
However, the item you have purchased is not produced with a box. We have made this clear on our website, as it is pictured as just the bottle. Unfortunately, we do not provide boxes for items products that do not have them.

I order from TWE every year for combination of Xmas, birthday and fathersday gifts and every time the order has been complete and delivered within 2 days.
The online selection is great, I dont drink whiskey myself so the guides are useful.

You give them money and they send you whiskey. Seems too good to be true, I know! Quick, well packaged delivery. They deliver whisky to your house. It is wonderful.

Service from the Whisky Exchange was first class. If I have any complaint at all it would be the fact that someone has to be there to sign for the parcel. As you will appreciate that is not possible at all times, so, why not accept the fact that when I say put the parcel in a cupboard by my flat door and I will accept the responsibility should it go missing

Excellent website, service and products
I was a little unsure of placing an order over £100 on my first visit to the site but all went well. There is plenty to choose from as I was looking for presents for my Dads Birthday and Fathers day. I was able to buy a couple of the more unusual Whiskies and treat myself to a bottle of my favourite Fireball whisky as it was just one price for delivery which is excellent. Delivery was spot on time with well packaged products and I was able to track my parcel, which is helpful. Will definitely be returning once I have saved up some cash. Thank you

Ordered a bottle I had been looking for in a smaller than standard 70cl size, I found the range of half size bottles stocked by TWE and the very bottle I wanted was there, the website was clear and well presented as well as giving plenty of information on the individual tasting notes. Great range and delivery was very quick and well packaged to ensure there were no breakages - very impressed

Plenty of choice, easy delivery arrangements
Choosing a whiskey as a 40th birthday present is not easy but the range available allowed for a range of styles and budgets so it was possible to compare a range of whiskeys and then whittle them down to one.
Delivery wise, no problems experienced so very happy with the service.

I found the whiskey exchange delivery service excellent.
They kept in contact all the way through.
The only negative thing is the cheap polystyrene chips they use to protect the bottle, they are a pain.
Why cant you use plastic air wrapping like other drinks suppliers, much more user friendly.

Good Price and fast delivery
I recently ordered a limited edition of the Glenlivet Alpha which luckily Whisky Exchange had in stock as everywhere else had sold out. The price was pretty much the same as other leading whisky websites which is good to know. I placed the order on a Monday and the whisky had arrived by Thursday special delivery. Perfect. The contents were safely secured in a sea of foam so my valuable cargo was very secure all during transit. One suggestion I could make, would be to use a inflatable slieve to protect the whisky in the box as if you are intending keeping the bottled unopened for safekeeping it makes it easier to view every now and again, rather then getting the foam all over the place everytime you want to inspect the bottle.

This was the second time I had ordered 'Kings Ginger' from The Whisky Exchange - and it won't be the last! I am unable to buy locally in Cornwall, so to use your online shop is an excellent way of buying one of our favourite tipples. The online process is very easy, and the products have always being delivered in good time and well packaged to protect the bottles.

We were just back from our holiday near Perpignan and had discovered yet another lovely drink! I couldn't wait to get on the net, to see if I could find it over here. Luckily, Crème de Chataigne (chestnut liqueur) came up immediately under The Whisky Exchange website and I was able to order using my favourite form of payment, Paypal. We had friends for dinner over the week-end and I was delighted to offer them a cocktail of Champagne with the liqueur, and boy, was it a hit!!!!
Really pleased with the high quality and the speed it was sent. Will certainly use The Whisky Exchange again.

Disappointed that the presentation box for my whisky was damaged before shipping
Overall a good experience. Shipping and updates via email were timely and up-to-date. Unfortuanately the presentation box that contained my whisky was damaged. The nauture of the damage suggests that this could only have been done prior to shipping. This meant that I had to find an alternative method in which to present the whisky.

Easy site navigation, quick and reliable delivery, kept up to date all the time just fantastic! Package was properly packed with plenty of protection and product arrived as described and exceedingly happy with the purchase.
