Good value, good range
Ordered a couple of saw blades and router bits. Good prices and reasonable cost fedex delivery. Part shipped at no extra cost when 1 item was on back order.
I did try to add something to my order over the phone after putting it through on the net, and they did call me back, but that item still got missed off.
I was not charged so not that bothered, but they cold have had the extra sale and I wouldn't have to pick that item up somewhere now.
That is why I took off 1 star.

Excellent value on all the items I purchased.
The dewalt tool bags and tools from Tools4trade that I bought were excellent value and the delivery was super fast. On the day the items were delivered I received a phone call from the driver as there was no one in at my address and he obliged my request to leave with a neighbour. Overall very pleased with service and communication throughout this transaction and have no hesitation in recommending Tools4Trade to anyone. Regards and many thanks.

Good range of products on an easy to navigate site.
A good price for a quality tool, plus there's a good range of both cutting and grinding disks that I ordered at the same time. Ordered Thursday afternoon, arrived Monday morning on standard delivery; cheaper than going out to the shops to buy one! This was my first order and I'll be coming back for more!

The tool does not do what it is supposed to do
I bought a 16mm and 25mm crimping tool but i would guess that nobody at Tools4Trade had tried the tool before stocking it.If they had they would find that the tool would need somebody with arms like Rambo to close the crimp up, and it was not only me who tried but 4 of my colleagues also, who inturn tried and failed to close the crimp.Complete waste of money!

Does what it says on the tin
The web site is easy to use and price are very competitive but as long as you don't need your item the next day as it normal takes 3 days to come, but then that's we're you have to be a good project manger, lol

Good service let down by slow despatch
I telephoned and spoke to a friendly and helpful member of staff who found the item I was looking for and said he would keep it for me on his desk while I placed an order online.
Despite me placing the order the same day, it was nine days before I received an email saying that the item had been despatched. All the other items I ordered, from 3 or 4 separate suppliers, had arrived within 4 days.

My goods never arrived. They've made various promises by phone - none came to anything. They've never replied to emails. Not a company to do business with.

Excellent Customer Service
I ordered a Dewalt Tile Saw from this company and it weas delivered very quickly. They had inadvertantly sent the 110V version instead of the 240V version. After reading some of these reviews i feared the worst, but after sending an email the night they called first thing the next morning. I was given several options for remedying the situation, return and replace or a refund to pay for a 110V transformer. I took the refund option and it was processed immediately. Excellent customer service.

They sent me an item that was totally at odds with the description, no responses from emails, I called twice to be told I would be called back, and their phone is always engaged.
The bosses in this firm are Greedy, Arrogant, Lazy and Stupid.
I also Love the fact that they have numerous FAKE reviews on here stupidly given away by them all misspelling manchester as menchester. Strangely enough all the fake ones are really complimentary....Nice one tools4trade you morons.

Avoid
Order placed and money taken 4th September. Advised that order will be processed in 1-2 days. By 13th September had heard nothing and received nothing and been refunded nothing. Complained by e-mail and no reply. Rang and left voicenmail. On 14th September received e-mail reporting goods "out of stock" and money refunded. Why was I not notified at time of order ? Its a straightforward standard item that I wanted. Will wait and check that refund arrives.

I agree, poor customer service
Placed an order last Thursday, it was dispatched Friday, turns up today with the main part missing and then an email today saying 'oh sorry we didn't have it'.
Bit late notice and i wouldn't have ordered the rest of the order as its useless without the missing piece. They should have informed me at the time of order before dispatch.
Beware fellow buyers.

Very, very suspect company - Order at your own risk!
Beware, any good reviews are written by this company themselves... read through the good reviews below, note how everyone who is pleased with the service lives in a place called "menchester".
Also note how anyone who has left more than one review leaves it for another questionable shop www.netpetshop.co.uk (again, the only good feedback this company is getting is from made up customers too).
There is something very worrying about an internet company which finds it necessary to invent their own reviews. It seems the real customers have very different opinions on the service provided.
Think hard about parting with your cash before ordering.

They really are as bad as they are painted!
A proper company takes orders for items it has in stock and then sends them immediately. Not this lot. After finding and looking over their website I placed an order, genuinely expecting it in a couple of days especially after getting two "order processed" emails. After 5 working days I phoned and was told that it would now be marked urgent (like it wasn't urgent before) and told to expect it in two days. Two days later no item and phoned to be told it was going to be sent that day.
I don't (yet) think these people are scammers I just think they are rubbish. If they spent less time placing obviously bogus positive reviews on this site and instead delivering on orders they may get more real ones!
I'm really glad I used Paypal which means they don't have my card details and if necessary I'll get my money back eventually.

I ordered a sharpening system on Tuesday 2 August 2011 and received an acknowledgment within a few minutes.The Website advised that despatch would be with 24-48 hours. As nothing had arrived by Friday 5th I called the company and was told that it would be despatched 'sometime next week'. I told the lady on the phone that I needed it quicker than that and she said she would mark it as "Urgent". I had an email on Monday 8th August to say it had been despatched by FedEx. It arrived today - Tuesday 9th August - exactly what I wanted and cheaper than anywhere else I searched, and FedEx delivery was £2.99 I have given only 4 stars as they should have been more truthful about the delivery despatch time, but they have fulfilled my order and I am very happy with the product. Most of the good reviews on this site are from people in Menchester, wherever that is, and they seem to do a lot of business with the residents who live there.

very poor service
They sent me an incomplete order without asking me despite the items were on their website and I paid for them. It was a ratchet wrench and sockets and I got sockets only because wrench was out of stock! Then I had to order wrench from another shop and pay for delivery again!
Moreover I was waiting over a week for delivery!

I ordered a work bench off t4t and was told it would be despatched within 2-3 days, 8 days later nothing had arrived so i emailed them that i needed the bench by the coming weekend otherwise i would'nt need it. They emailed me back friday and told me it had been despatched, it arrived tuesday and to my own cost i sent the item back unopened.
Two weeks later no refund, so i rang t4t and was told they had'nt received item back, spoke to courier and was told they had tried to deliver item on two occasions and t4t would'nt accept (still don't know why to this day, t4t don't know either)
Finally got item returned and three days later i rang t4t and was told that item was damaged, spoke to courier and they told me that they had no record of any damage.
I have been waiting now for two weeks for them to make a decision to which i have lost patience and paid for it to be returned to me.
This companies customer sevice is terrible and would warn other people against using this site.
These people are con artists.
