Super Great Service From a Great Company Thank You Watch Shop

I have just purchased for first time a watch from Watch Shop and I found the whole experience very simple and effortless, this gives you a really good feeling that they treat the customer as a real person and not just a normal everyday Joe Blog purchase. The watch arrived quickly and when they said it would, I also checked that the price offered by the shop was the cheapest offered on the internet and found that they often beat most shops and if not they offered the same price, the delivery was also free, I will be buying other watches from the Watch Shop and have no problem recommending them to my friends and anyone else that is thinking off buying from the shop. Would not touch with a barge pole

I brought a DKNY ladies watch. Within two hours of wearing it the colour came off the underside of the bracelet. I have sent it back and have now been informed it has to go back to the supplier who hopefully will get back within 15 days but if not they have asked me to chase them!!!!.
I would buy you goods from a reputable shop/company where you will receive a good level of customer service and can return items.

I can't believe how fast delivery is! I ordered at 1psm and I recieved it at 9am the next morning. Also the prices are very fair and conpetative if you take into account the free delivery, they're probably the cheapest watch provider out there!

Beautiful watch

I love this watch, which I ordered just before going on holiday. I am very impressed with the next day morning delivery.

Poor delivery and customer service

I ordered a watch for a pre 9am delivery. I waiting in the house until 9.30 and there was still no sign of the watch. I then left for work (having already lost 1hr's pay)
Luckily for me I got someone to come to the house and wait in for the parcel that turned up at 10am.
I rang customer services; they did the usual apologies but said once they passed the parcel to Royal Mail it is not there problem anymore.
As I work in a e-commerce business I understand the problems with carriers but these suppliers are an extension to the "watch shop service". The customer should not be expected to foot the bill because there suppliers let them down. This is poor customer service and poor business practice.

I would like watch shop to contact me and discuss how they plan to address this issue. Order 1162488

Never heard of this company before yesterday and had a fantastic experience. Order arrived day after it was submitted and the website was incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Am definitely a repeat buyer especially with these prices.

Fast service and delivery

The day of order my watch was dispatched and i received it the day after that which was brilliant. The price is much lower than any other retailed I looked at for my watch!

shit shop

OK, here is story. i just bought watch from this website. I use it couple week (less then 3 week) the strap come off. I design to fix it by my self so i take the watch to local shop to get it fixed. the local say the strap look like been damage or been used so i don't get it fix and return to the shop. 1st day they say they have to send it back to manufacturer it take about 15 working days also you will give me notice after 15 days.

after 15 working days i give them a call again and it been 16 working days already. under The Sale of Goods Act 1979 it say that if product is faulty ether i get full refund or replacement within 28 days. so i have take voice record i have to solicitor. they say go make evidence.

just tell people don't buy stuff from this shop. yes deliver fast but customer service is absolutely SHIT.

Quality watch and quality service!

Always difficult to buy a watch online without seeing what it would look like on - this is where Watch Shop excel - they show pictures of the watch on a wrist! Size can be deceptive so this is a small, but clever idea! Prices are very good compared to buying on the high street and this is what lead me to buy online. Service was impeccable - couldn't ask for me. Instant confirmation of order and able to track order throughout. A1 Watch Shop!

Warning! The returns policy of the watchshop.com is worthless.

I ordered a watch from the watchshop.com, mainly because few other sellers had the watch in stock. When it arrived I handled it in order to check its functioning, but did not take off any sticky protective coverings or labels. I even took care not to mark the instruction book by opening it, instead downloading a copy from the Internet. I certainly never wore the watch, nor could I have given that to do this the bracelet would have had to be substantially shortened. All in all I thought that I had done everything possible to ensure that the watch remained in an as-supplied condition.

Once I saw the watch 'in the flesh' and tried out its functions I realised that it was not the right one for me. Consequently I carefully cleaned the watch of any finger marks with a clean cotton cloth and returned it, requesting a refund.

The watchshop.com then e-mailed me saying that they would not accept the watch as it was 'scratched'. I did not recall seeing any scratches and requested photographic evidence. They then sent me some photos, blown up to around 20 x normal resolution, showing a couple of absolutely tiny marks perhaps a mm long. They claimed that these were 'visible to the naked eye' and so it seemed I had no choice but to accept them returning the watch to me. Once it was returned I looked very closely but could only see even the most visible mark with the aid of a magnifying glass.

To be fair, it appears that the highly polished stainless steel used for watches is much less mark resistant than one might assume. However, I had taken great care of this watch and such marks could just as easily be picked up if one was viewing a watch in a jewellers shop. Even so, I have yet to hear a jeweller say to a customer who was trying a watch on "Ah! That watch has now been worn by you and has probably picked up a few marks that I could find with a loupe, so you must now pay for the watch even if you don't really want it." Similarly I have never heard of a jeweller claiming that a watch was 'unsellable' because its protective labels had been removed for display purposes. Doubtless watches tried on by customers in a shop do sometimes pick up marks but all the jeweller would do is spend a minute or so polishing them out with some rouge.

Be warned, once the watchshop.com has your money, they appear to be VERY reluctant to ever give a refund for a return, and will look for ANY excuse not to do so. A little research on the web will find other similar examples from other customers who were refused a refund on the slightest of excuses, including the box a watch was in supplied having a mark on it. Well, the box my watch came in was totally split down one side, but I very much doubt that they would have accepted a return from me because of this.

I would recommend that if you do purchase a watch from these people (and that is not something I would recommend!) that you do absolutely everything possible not to give them an excuse if you think you might want to return the item. Take care not to disturb any peel-off labels, even at the edges. Do not remove any tags. Only lay the watch down on a soft, clean cloth, not a table or desk (I think that doing this must have been the cause of the tiny marks that the watchshop.com used as an excuse not to accept my return.) Do not polish the watch to remove any finger marks unless you use a clean glasses cloth or similar. Take care not to leave any marks on any packaging and do not crease the instruction book by opening it. Of course, you may do all these things and they may well still find an excuse to refuse your return, but at least you tried.

Reading around the Internet also shows that the watchshop.com seems to give particularly poor service when it comes to warranty claims. Another reason to avoid them!

They also claim that they will supply a 'stamped guarantee', but they certainly didn't in my case and it seems you might well have to send any warranty claims directly to them.

To keep things balanced, it might well be that the '30 day, no hassle returns' policies offered by other Internet based watch sellers are also not worth the paper they are written on, but in my experience, the watchshop.com's own return policy certainly was worthless, and I know I am not the only one to have found this to be the case.

Awful service, ordered watches wrapped in gift paper, paid extra, but recieved flat watches in crumpled pack.

1. didn't not received the service I paid for.
2. did like the watches, but want to claim my money back which I paid for gift wrap, but instead received simple manufacturing box.
3. information provided with purchase confirmation is not clear, I don't have to spend my time looking how to get in touch with the supplier.

The service is really good and quick. Had some bad experience with amazon and later tried with this site but was quite surprised with the service provided and the regular update on the status of the product.

Let Down

product arrived without gift wrapping or note as requested. Only included an invoice with the price that my girlfriend had to read to see who it was from as the note was not included!

i got what felt like an automated response via email with refund on the gift wrap and 5% discount off a future purchase which feels more like a promotional tool than compensation. i am disappointed for the little help i received considering they wrecked my gift. i will soon be on the way to buy some gift wrap myself to get this ready for tomorrow. but as she already knows what it is and the price there isn't much point. ill have to get some flowers instead.

I ordered a watch for my wife Order Number 1145486, this was A ladies Accurist Charmed Watch LB 1410.
I ordered the watch late on a Thursday night and she received it the following Wednesday, we live in Spain way down in the Southern part, so delivery was spot on also I was able to track my order from order to delivery.
She is over the moon with the watch, so I would like to thank you for the ammount of Brownie points I have scored with her. Also for the great service that I received from you. Also the watch is first class.

Easy website and quick delivery!

The website was really simple and showed me exactly what I wanted/needed to see. I could easily compare products and the prices weren't extortionate.
Ordering and paying for the watch was extremely easy and quick, as was delivery.
My only criticism would be that I did pay an additional fee to get the watch gift wrapped to save me a job but it arrived without this!

A Classic, Stylish & Timeless watch

This is a brilliant, retro watch. It has many simple features, such as; a stopwatch, an alarm, a light, the date and the day of the week! All of these features are extremely accessible - it takes seconds to set the watch up. The strap is extremely easy to alter and is suitable for a variety of wrist sizes. As if all of this wasn't enough, the watch itself looks great and goes with almost every outfit. This is definitely a must have!

My watch couldn't have arrived any quicker, I ordered it in the evening and it arrived before 1pm the next day, the fact that I'd asked for the strap to be adjusted didn't delay it at all. Watch Shop had removed 4 links in order to fit the measurement I gave them, however it was still a little loose and I had to have one more link removed at my local jewelers, this is down to the fact I have freakishly tiny wrists though! It's a beautiful watch, very happy indeed.
