Breach of T&C's

My order was cancelled because of a pricing error, it states in their Terms & Conditions that they'll give you the choice of cancelling or paying the correct price. No choice was given. The reason for this, I was told, was that they no longer had it in stock. It was removed from the Zavvi website, yet they were selling it on Play.com as ZavviOutlet? Different suppliers, I was told. A fix to avoid breaching Terms & Conditions, I assumed.

It took a dozen or so messages to get all this out of them. Very unsatisfactory. Again.

Awful company - no customer service

Half my order (28731057) didn't turn up, there is no phone number you can contact them on only their online messaging system, and they just ignore that. Going to have to ask credit card company for a chargeback. From what I can see on other review sites this is normal: they say they have dispatched items when they haven't then just ignore you from that point. Order from Play.com or Amazon, then you will actually receive it!

Pleasantly surprised to find that Zavvi can actually be cheaper than Amazon. And the postage is free and fast. Brilliant!

Good service, will buy from them again

Got a decent price and it came within 4 days. Just what I wanted.

1st class service again from Zavvi

Received my game in just a few days paying the lowest price currently around.
I always consider Zavvi when purchasing games / dvd's.
One question though - why no cd's anymore?

Unhelpful after their own mistake!

Received the 'Friends anniversary Complete Box Set (40 discs)' for my birthday, however when I got to series 3, there was 2 of the same disc so I was missing 7 episodes. When I contacted zavvi they wouldn't replace that series they wanted me to send back the whole box set and wait for them to receive it, check it and then exchange it! They wouldn't send out a separate series 3 that wasn't related to the box set, I'm not sure why I should have to do all the leg work when the problem is not my fault and whoever packed the box set messed up and can't use their eyes!. As I work full time, I don't have time to get something ready for posting and then take it to be posted, so I told the unhelpful person who was replying to my emails to leave it and I had purchased series 3 from eBay for £2. We will not be purchasing from zavvi again and will be sure to avoid them when purchasing from play.com!

Fast, but issue with courier

Ordered lord of the rings extended trilogy on blu-ray. Good price and fast service, but had the item delivered to my parents as it was a gift, and they informed me that the package was just left on the doorstep for anyone to steal! Luckily, they live in a quiet village, but if that had happened at my house, I am certain that it would have been stolen!
So overall, good fast service, poor courier

great steelbooks, need an express delivery option

I was happy with this particular order, good prices, quick(ish) delivery, however another order I placed (For the Indiana Jones Blu Ray steelbooks - exclusive to Zavvi), listed as June 3rd release date, have still not been despatched and it is now June 13th. Every few days I get a template apology email but it is not good enough. I preordered these titles months ahead of release date but still no items and no real reasons given as to why....

Part of order never received

For my son's birthday I decided to purchase 3 skylanders for £18.00 from Zavvi.COM. Order was accepted and within a few days the order was updated to dispatched, however I only received one confirmation email. After a couple of days a single skylander arrived and I awaited with bated breath for the remaining items. Over a week later and still no skylanders. No phone number to call, very poor customer services.

I'm very pleased with the service that Zavvi provide and now order from them, rather than Amazon for that reason. The offers and discount codes are really good as well.

Great Prices, Fast Delivery.

Excellent site. Every week they have great saving in the 'Mega Monday' offers. Top service, very competitive prices and quick delivery. Only slight downside, while most games are on there, can sometimes be limited for choice on more obscure titles but otherwise would highly recommend.

Cancelled my order, deleted my account

Order number 28967603. Zavvi cancelled this order without my approval, and they have then deleted my account I spent time setting up.
Customer service is non existent, no number to call and without my account no way of getting in contact.
I am fully expecting this review to be deleted too....

Terrible

Zavvi are pretty useless nowadays. Customer service is horrible as well. An order of mine got cancelled a week before release because of mispricing, even though i'd ordered months ago. They've made no attempt to actually help me either.

They're even getting people to write fake reviews for a competition. There's no way so many people would give Zavvi 5 stars if they didn't get something from doing so.

Good offers, but some room for improvement

I purchase from Zavvi quite often as they regularly have good offers on a selection of Blu-Rays and video games that I am interested in.

A couple of points.

One would be that I placed a pre-order that was then cancelled three months later due to a pricing error. This caused me to miss out on an offer for this product elsewhere at a reasonable price.

Two, my credit card expired and I was unable to change the card number I used to submit my order without cancelling it and reordering. This meant I lost the cheaper price the item was when I ordered it, and the discount that was applied to it.

Apart from these issues, the service I have had has generally been good and I would recommend them to others.

VERY GOOD COMPANY

I have bought hundred of films these last years from Zavvi. Some good deals and FREE SHIPPING to Greece!! I didnt have any problem. The only "negative" i can think of, is the shipments take some time to arrive. Also they can upgrade the search engine in the site. Sometimes you are searching for something and although is listed, it isnt been showed in the results.

Overall very good retailer!!!

Excellent Prices, Quick Delivery

I buy quite a few things from Zavvi and have never had a problem to date. Most recently I bought the xbox game 'Rocksmith' off them and as always the site was easy to use. I got my confirmation mail and a few days later my game arrived in the post.
