The worst customer service i have ever received from a company that boast of having 5000 vans in business and doesn't even know when a van breaks down while sending out parcels or couldn't use/sent out other van. I was suppose to receive a parcel yesterday and i took a day off just for it as it was very important for me. the latest timings was 9 pm for delivery. I didnt get the parcel till 8 pm. I talked to the adviser and was informed that the van was still out and that i should expect for it and wait till 9 pm. The adviser told me to make arrangements if it doesnt come. It didnt arrive and at 9:30 i tracked the parcel and ended reading that it was due to vehicle break down.
I called the company in the morning and found out that the company wasnt aware of the time when it broke down and so could not update the system. I informed them about wasting day that i took off from work and the company didnt take responsibility. The adviser said that he will sent out the parcel today and that i should wait till 9 pm. He said that because the vehicle broke down, i couldnt get the parcel. The vehicle is still out at 8 pm according to the adviser i talked yesterday and now in the morning i get a different answer. And there was no sign of making any arrangement. Because of that, I have to take off again today about which the company should be ashamed off for failing to provide accurate information and provide proper customer service.
Never to do business again with them and would advice my colleagues at work too. Completely unacceptable and dreadful.
Paid for my parcel to be delivered 19th June from Ted Baker (delivery from 8.30 till 9 at night) By 8.30pm still no parcel! I had sat in all day! this morning I rang Yodel who told me it would be delivered today before 9 pm tonight they didn't seem to care that I had sat in all day and would have to do the same again today. I asked if she could ring the driver for a more specific time for her to say they don't have mobiles! Obviously they think I'm as thick as what they are! The reviews on the company are very bad ! I will never order online with Ted baker again until they change couriers !!
they are very good in delivering parcels. I got parcel with Yodal twice and i am extremely satisfied with their service.
Parcel was from Carphone Warehouse. Delivery promised between 7am and 9pm. At 8pm the tracking online feature suddenly identified that the parcel had been returned to the local depot. We had waited in all day. Called Yodel who didn't know a number for the Peterborough depot, and didn't know a number for the local courier. Suggested delivery Thursday (no good for us) Suggested delivery Friday (no good for us) Suggested delivery Saturday (no good for us) - can you see why we requested and paid for next day delivery on Wednesday? Solution? - Re-call Carphone Warehouse to get the delivery address changed, which Yodel could not do themselves. Dreadful. Dreadful. Dreadful. .
I've always had a great service with yodel. The staff are always polite and friendly. They have been helpful when I've phoned up with a query. Would always recommend.
Today Yodel tried to deliver the above order. Sadly I missed it. I had no idea that this would start such a complicated process. I never thought for a moment that they would be unable to leave it i.e. put it through the letter box or leave it with my neighbour. I'm told that it requires a signature. Would my neighbours signature not suffice?
Yodel used to have a delivery depot not far from me in Plymouth, therefore when I read the card I was not that concerned. I rang the help line on the card 0800 1577777 only to have two options 1. to re arrange delivery, which I didn't want to do or 2. to collect from depot. I chose this option and then discovered that it would be left in Newton Abbot! This is a 54 mile round trip! I decided I wanted to speak to a CSR but was unable to on this number as it was an automated number only, very frustrating!
I then had to look for another number on the internet, after finding one and going through another wave of options I finally spoke with a CSR to be told that it was not possible to arrange for my parcel to be left at the Plymouth depot as there now wasn’t one! I had previously collected items from Plymouth so asked why it closed. I was told it was in order to streamline the business. All very well, I, as a client am not prepared to waste time and fuel to travel 50-60 miles to pick up a parcel! They told me they could deliver the parcel tomorrow, I told them that there will be the same problem then. I asked if they could deliver to my place of work, they said no. I asked them if they could contact the delivery driver, I was told he didn't have a number. I then asked to speak to the 'local' depot but was told they didn't have a number either! With a little digging around I found the number for the depot who then contacted the driver who was not far away, however, I was told he refused to either meet me at a time and location suitable to him or come past again today. I was instead told that I could come to collect from their depot in Newton Abbot (miles away). In the interests of sustainability though, time etc. this is just ridiculous.
It would appear that the earliest I can get this package will be on Saturday and therefore wanted to highlight again just how rubbish this company is and that they have a poor logistical backbone and cutting costs by closing depots in major cities.
I warned them that if I didn't get my parcel today I would file the review online so here it is, what makes this worse is that I see James Curson (two days ago) managed to get a very similar item delivered successfully in a very similar situation because someone used common sense. I am told that there is no way I could have received that kind of service he did!
All in all, - avoid!
I am really happy with Yodel services.
At all the times delivery was fast ,service great, team helpfull.
Never had any complaints,always left card if no one was in, and process of re-delivery always easy.

Gentleman who delivered my parcel remembered I had injured my foot and commented on my health, personal touch and amazing customer service
Thanks to Laura I have my parcel . A couple of emails and Laura found out my parcel was mistakingly taken to a different address. Within an hour the courier went back got the parcel and bought it back to me. Mistakes happen , lots of apologies and no shouting!!!!
I ordered a parcel paying extra for next day delivery, every day I get a message saying unable to gain access. This has happened twice. Today, to rub salt in the wounds, I took a parcel for my neighbour from another company! They haven't rung my doorbell or left a calling card.
I've heard a lot of very bad reviews about Yodel. For example, they "delivered" a £1000+ worth dSLR camera to my friend, by leaving it "in a safe place" ... which was in front of his house door ... almost right at the sidewalk ... on a busy city centre street. We've all probably also seen that BBC Watchdog episode etc etc.
Anyway! I was really scared when I've got an email from Amazon telling me that Yodel is going to deliver to me my (not cheap) item.
It was delivered on time, with not a single problem and I could track it online, so honestly, to be fair with them, I give Yodel five stars.

I was making my first cup of tea of the morning ,still in my dressing gown,when the doorbell rang,& there stood a Yodel delivery gent ,who presented me with my parcel, ordered at lunchtime the day before .It really couldn't have been a moment faster,I'm impressed.
Ordered shoes with sports direct. Had an email this morning telling me my parcel had been left with a neighbour at 10.23 am and the details would be on the calling card left through my door.... I have been up and awake since 7am this morning with my 7 month old daughter, as has my partner. I left for work at 11.08 and my partner is still at home now, and we have had no one knock on our door to deliver anything, nor have we had a calling card through our letter box telling us what number it was left with. So phoned customer services, who told me the driver also didn't leave a number when he scanned the parcel. So I have no idea where my package is!!! Nor do i have proof who it was left with as i have no calling card. Absolutely disgusting service, waste of money and now I have missing shoes!!!! So angry!!!
Already knowing that there is sometimes a next day delivery or within a few days, you have shown that you can deliver quicker. Your drivers are always cheerful, courteous and helpful if more information is needed. It's also quite fun watching your parcel traveling around the country coming our way via the tracking.
I'd say 10/10 on all deliveries I've had.

I Wasn't Available On The First Attempted Delivery, The Courier Left a Green Card With His Contact Details So As I Could Arrange A more Suitable Time For Him To Deliver My Parcel Which Was Next Day. Overall Very Professional And Efficient, Will Definitely Use Yodel Delivery Services Again.
Due to working away all week receiving parcels can be awkward.however Laura made it very easy and treated me as a customer . I would definatleu recommend yodel to others.

As others have found, they said they had attempted delivery and had left a calling card, but there was no card and no one had actually called.
Impossible to get through on their listed phone number, they either ask for the number on the card (which of course they never left) and cut you off, or cut you off when you try any other options.
Does anyone know how you can contact them, I am dealing with their Milton Keynes depot.

This is a re-post of my review as Yodel reported my review for using a naughty word.
Checked tracking, saw it was out for delivery, kept an eye on CCTV, 8 members of staff at the premises............gets to gone 3pm....no package......check tracking....attempted delivery at 12:12, returned to depot at 15:03. Ring them up to complain....told them no attempt was made, no card left, "uh dunno why that's happened" apparently driver did a card.....just not to me or my address (probably in a bin somewhere?)......supposed to be getting delivered tomorrow between 9-5, he added onto the notes for the driver that we have CCTV to "let him know we're looking out for him" as the guy put it......time will tell huh??
*update* the package did not arrive the next day, same thing happened, apparently attempted to deliver, not on our site though it seems! went to the depot to collect as seemed pointless letting them attempt delivery a third time as if failed it would have been returned to sender. rubbish customer service, didn't seem to care when i told them it was my wedding dress! luckily it was still in one piece when i collected and the lad in the depot it's self was very helpful and i had my package with 5/10 minutes of entering!

My mother ordered me a item from her very catalog, due to be delivered today.... Waited in all day with 2 & 3 year old on a lovely summers day, to check online at around midday they tried to deliver but was unable at customer was out and left a card!!! I was in ALL DAY!! There lairs and its disgusting the way they lie!!! It's not that hard to ring a door bell/buzzer!!!

what can i say i ordered my polo shirts at 09:17am on sunday morning and got them at noon Monday, outstanding, great service.
I will keep this pretty short but would just like to say how highly I would recommend Yodel. Apart from our everyday postman Yodel is the ONLY company who manage to find us as out house has a name and not a number and actual deliver when they say they will. The drivers are always chirpy and polite which helps make them a pleasure to deal with. It's just a shame we can't choose the delivery service we want for all deliveries from all companies.

The service from Yodel is second to none. I have had several parcels delivered with Yodel, and all have been hassle free. The times when I haven't been home to accept delivery, a card is always left stating where it is left which is fantastic! The driver's are polite and well mannered which is very rare with a delivery company. I have experienced terrible customer service and delivery from other Courier's in the past, however Yodel is my absolute favourite. Polite, well mannered, informative and courteous - other Courier need to take note of their outstanding service. Well done to all involved!
I ordered a new graphics card form ebuyer, it was meant to be delivered to my work as I'm never at home, looked on the tracking and panicked it was set to go to my house. I saw it was yodel and thought crap, at least if it was the post office it would be near to my house, i immediately found this site and read all the reviews and basically was gutted, needed this card for the weekend, paid extra for next day delivery and saw all this and thought if it gets sent back to the Norwich service center I'll never get it in time. Emailed social media lee and laura were fantastic, they rang the depo and asked to get a message to the driver that i wouldn't be there till after 5, half an hour later i got a phone call from the driver himself asking where i worked, it was too far out of his range to deliver to me, but he was quality and delivered to my mum's house near by. I know he's not actually allowed to do that but i don't care, he was brilliant. What a result.
Sorry to hear all the bad things that have happened but for me it was perfect.

I'd have left it at no stars. My item was 3 days overdue when I raised the issue with the Amazon seller. Then five weeks of silence so I raised an Amazon claim. Lo and behold the seller produces a POD from Yodel. Except the signature is illegible and they claim to have delivered to me at a time when I wasn't even in. I live in a mid-terrace within five feet of the pavement. Doesn't take a genius to work out that either the parcel went walk about at a depot or was left on the doorstep and the delivery was faked. I'm not happy as the POD apparently is being accepted as genuine even though I can produce any number of sample signatures. DO NOT USE!

Today is the 15th June and so far it's been basically 4 days that delivery has sat at the yodel depot. What's most annoying is there's no real way to find out when yodel will deliver? As, on yodels website, they only let you track the delivery and not contact them, I wonder why this is?
I dont know why so many people complain about Yodel, i have ordered MANY times with Yodel, they always deliver on time for me, and are a great service, these guys deserver a higher rating!
I have been receiving deliveries from Yodel on a regular basis for over a year and I have never had any problems, they always deliver exactly when expected and their driver is helpful and cheerful.
I live down a small farm track which is 400m off of the road, and unsignposted. I have often had couriered deliveries 'go astray' or get left with (not so) close neighbours, so I always think it is something worth credit when a courier gets it right, especially on a next day delivery which they keep to. The website provided an easy to use and quick tracker which actually updates, and they even went to so far as to text me with an ETA, which they kept to. When you have to go to the trouble of waiting in for a delivery, it is nice when your day is not wasted, and the item arrives on plan. I congratulate a well-oiled machine.
hi just orded some gear for my holiday also got a email telling me its on its way by yodel giveing me a tracking number no need to track allways on time if there was a problem i know it would be delt with a yodel dont take my say so give them a try i did yodeeeeeeeeel
I have just moved to UK and my partner sent me flowers through Yodel. On Wednesday I found a Yodel card in my building with another address. As I suspected it was for me, I checked on Yodel website but it wrote the tracking number was not recognised. So I called them and they acknowledged the parcel was actually for me. I explained my situation: as I am working full time so I cannot wait home from 7am to 9pm for them to deliver my parcel. Hence I just moved in and I have nobody to receive the parcel on my behalf. They said they understood and would arrange delivery between 6pm and 9pm the next day. Which they didn't.
On Friday (my fresh flowers had already been waiting for 2 days) I received another card with another tracking number. The tracking number was still not recognised on Yodel website. I call them again and after 20 min trying to find a solution, they said my parcel had actually been delivered, but to a person I do not even know! It sounds they invented it just to end up discussion. My partner's tracking shows that the parcel has been delivered...
YODEL started an investigation but with their low level of reliability I doubt I will ever get any feedback.
NB: customers reviews are extremely polarised which makes me think the excellent reviews are fake indeed,,,

I looked on here earlier and decided to reserve judgement Yodel Had already changed the information on the where's my parcel section On their site three times yet the person on the phone Denied this.
So when some one on the help line finally accepted that it would not be on time as agreed (Quite obviously to be sent to a business address e.g. before six With the business name on the label it doesn't take a genius to work it out) I got a friend to sit outside the workplace to wait for yodel to turn up.
Yet I logon now and surprise surprise yodel Tracker system says they could not gain access what a load of rubbish.
It seems everyone is right and yodel really do not care about their customers whatsoever.
Can't even get through to offer and go and get it because I need it. My life does not work to their timetable. And quite frankly shouldn't have to
I will also be boycotting any supplier that uses yodel on a regular basis

Kept informed at all stages as to the delivery of the parcel. Arrived during the specified delivery time in good condition. No problems at all. Would recommend this service.
I had heard nothing but bad reviews about yodel but I have nothing but praise . My parcel came on time perfectly presented and I one happy person, Thanks Yodel it's not the first parcel; I have had from them always the drivers has been polite and helpful. Oh and I will point out I am disabled so when I answer the door not all delivery drivers offer to help place parcels inside door for me from other companies .
So Yodel keep up the good work and let your drivers know the good ones are noted
