There is very little that I have searched for on google and not been able to find an accurate answer for. I have total faith in google to find me the answers I am looking for and very quickly. Love the predictive way it finds the correct text while you are typing. Fantastic!!!!
Don't expect to get an after service unless you are prepared to pay through the nose for it. The customer agents were rude and walked away from me while I was explaining what the issue was with the product. I have not purchase anything from Currys since then and neither does any of my family or friends.
I have been to a number of Next stores and I must commend the managers of the stores but I want to mention two stores in particular (Ilford, essex and Beckton stores). The staff are polite, if you can't find an item on the shop floor, on 3 separate occasions, they have offered to order the item for me. Great customer service goes a long way in getting customers back. Well done for getting this right
I've been a customer of O2 both mobile and broadband. Fantastic customer service. Whatever my issue has been, its been resolved as soon as I have rang customer service. My broadband service has been fantastic. I get regular emails/text messages whenever there has been a change in service or details. The agents on the phone are polite and I always feel like they want to help me. Now that's what I call customer service. highly recommended!!!
I was a customer of Talktalk for 3 years. That was until I wanted to move. At the time, I had no reason to want to leave Talktalk. I called and asked to move my account (1 year into 18 month contract) to my new address with broadband. I was told it could not happen. (I don't remember the finer details of why) I asked to terminate my account which I assumed was done. I had to leave the country suddenly and returned 6 months later to find that Talk talk had continued to take money out of my account to the tune of almost £300.00 which has never been paid back. I spoke to the Ombudsman about it and I was basically told that I had to sort it out with Talk talk. Over 100 letters later including letters to chairman, I still haven't had my money back. I don't care if they are giving broadband away, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM TALKTALK. NOT RECOMMENDED
I have started to avoid going to Tesco now as it is crazy trying to find a trolley on the weekend. I have regularly (in the past) spent 10 minutes trying to find a trolley for shopping (Beckton and Goodmayes). I've watched their prices creep up in a matter of weeks on specific items by at least 10p a time. For instance Nachos which used to be 2.99 has crept up to 3.22 in a matter of weeks. Has cost of living gone up that much?? Really?? So I've decided to take my money where it will stretch further - Aldi and Lidl. Oh...I must say thank you to Tesco for reminding me that I haven't spent past vouchers which are about to expire. I will definitely make sure they are used.
I've been a customer of Amazon for a number of years. I cannot fault the service I have received on any level. It always is a pleasure shopping on Amazon. They have obviously got the business model and customer service sorted out very well. I would definitely recommend them above using Ebay (which really isn't that cheap considering some items can be purchased via auction). I've even got accounts for my nieces and nephews who get Amazon vouchers for birthday and christmas to purchase their presents online.
Just wanted to say that after my horrendous experience with Boots, Asda is one of the best out there for service. Making an appointment for my eye checks have been easy. The assistants have been polite and very helpful. When my contact lenses are ready for collection, have had a phone calll to remind me that its ready. Once, I need a quick check to ensure my lenses were ok and I was given an appointment at short notice.
I cannot praise the staff at Asda Opticians (Beckton) enough. Great example of real customer service.
At the weekend I decided to indulge my craving for fast food and ordered a pizza from Pizza hut despite having not ordered anything for a year. I specifically asked for no mushrooms on my order as I am allergic to it. Guess what arrived, pizza with loads of mushrooms on top.
I have complained to customer services and I was told it is a local issue and I need to ring the branch. The branch said there is nothing they could do as they are about to close but I should write to head office. So yes, all I could do is pick all the mushrooms off and hope that I didn't have an adverse reaction. The garlic bread was burnt, the chicken side order wasn't cooked properly. This is not the first time that they have got my order incorrect. To top it all off, instead of using the doorbell (clearly visible), the delivery man was banging on my window. Given my last experience, Pizza hut will never ever get a penny of my hard earned cash again.

I was a customer of Dolland & Aitchison for over 10 years before Boots took over. During those 10 years and had no reason to complain as my contact lenses were delivered on time and it was a simple process for making an appointment for my eye tests/checks.
Since Boots took over, it was one nightmare after another. Losing my records, not recording the fact that I already had an eye tests and forcing me to have yet another one, Trying to make an appointment for those eye tests was mission impossible. On average I made at least 3 calls a day to the branch (Oxford circus) over a 2 week period for someone to call back and that call back never materialised. My contact lenses were stopped in the interim and I tried to get an emergency appointment but it was another 2 weeks before I could be seen. I explained I was going on holiday but the person on the phone was totally unsympathetic. I complained to Boots customer care but after one phone call, nothing had happened. I decided to leave Boots in the end as it was too much stress just to order contact lenses and to see an optician. I went to Asda and what an absolutely pleasant experience. I can't thank the opticians at Asda enough for taking all that stress away and making the process of checking my eyes and getting my contact lenses on a regular basis a very simple one.
I can't even begin to describe my experience with Very apart from saying that when it comes to customer service, they are totally useless. I ordered an item on 26/12/2011...I am still waiting for an update despite sending numerous emails for an update. When I started to tweet about the service, someone emailed back with their T&C's. In other words, they really don't give a damn...go figure!!!
If you need anything in a hurry, may I strongly suggest that you purchase it elsewhere.
