I regularly shop at Amazon and even on a rare occasion there is a problem, it gets resolved reasonably quickly.

Had mobile broadband with T-mobile.
Utter rubbish: Connection dropping all the time, bandwidth, ping and speed ridiculous. Despite the fact they claimed the coverage at my home was perfect.
Spent absolute ages on the phone to their customer services (several times). Sometimes they managed to "fix" things for a few hours. Then it got back to what it was before.
Wanted to end the contract, however even though they were not delivering the services I was paying for, of course I was not allowed to. When the 1.5 year contract ended, I ran away as fast as I could, closing the account in the process.
Yet, only recently I found out, it was not actually closed: my credit report still shows it in an active state.
Ordered 2 SleepCurve mattresses & sheets on Thursday night and they arrived on Monday.
Also very good communication about the delivery:- I've been given a 1-hour slot (which I could have changed, should it be inconvenient) and that was kept.
I've ordered 5 different items on Sunday 5AM (not a typo, it was a very late night). Did not request any special delivery.
Still on Sunday I received an email that the order had been dispatched.
I did not quite believe it, but true to their word, all items were delivered on Monday morning.
No issues, no hassle, brilliant prices, super fast.
The web-site is fairly basic, you cannot review/track your order once it is placed. In fact there's not much you can do, once you're logged on. Plus, the registration process sends confirmation email to you with your password in plain text!!!
Also their wish-list feature functionality is confusing and difficult to use.

When my order was delivered more than 2 weeks later (13/01/2012), only 2 items were inside the parcel with no invoice or a note or anything suggesting a split delivery.
When I finally got through to the customer services (phone is always busy or not being picked up; also when promised to be called back, they did not do so), I was told the 3rd item is still to be delivered.
Ten days later (23/01/2012) I have received what should have been the last delivery, however it contained an item I did not order.
Again, I spent ages trying to get through to the customer services. They apologised and asked me to send the wrong item back, claiming they would refund the postage and that the 3rd item I am waiting for is not in stock now. However, it will be dispatched as soon as it is in stock.
After a few more phone calls, during which I'd been promised the missing item, I was told (01/02/2012), that the item is not available and would be re-ordered from the supplier. Two days later I am told it won't be available until March.
Truly frustrating and awful experience.
