Really Impartial Reviews ?
Posting this here regarding the Online Homebrew Company since they blocked my review on their dedicated page by claiming they had no record of my order. I tried emailing TrustPilot to provide details of the order as suggested by Trustpilot themselves but it seems their inbox is full. Can't imagine why that might be, deliberate or just flooded with other irate customers of this shabby company ? So here is my review of the Online Homebrew Company which should be avoided at all costs if you have any sense:
"Don't know what's going on with this company but their customer service is dire. Placed an order on 2 Jan 2012 and after 3 weeks of items constantly being in stock then not in stock or spending days being delivered from some warehouse I cancelled it. These were trivial items that any basic home brew shop should have in abundance. Even though they claim to respond to emails within hours you're lucky to get a reply within days. I'm still waiting for a refund for the cancelled order which, incidentally, they charged the day the order was placed, surprise, surprise ! Nice looking website and cheap prices but waiting weeks for basic items to be delivered from an internet shop is a joke."
Update:
Well I have revised my review of Trustpilot because I did eventually manage to email evidence that confirmed my order with the Online Homebrew Company was genuine. As a consequence they have removed the block on my review of this company. However, only 3 stars I'm afraid because they have now reverted back to requiring customers to enter a validation code, that has to come from the company being reviewed, rather than just an order number. This allows companies to vet who can and can't leave a review which is unacceptable. This feature needs to be removed if these reviews are to be considered a true reflection of customer satisfaction.

Sorry Trustpilot dumped you back to 1 star. My review with the Online Homebrew Company has been blocked again, I guess by the same company that blocked it before. This review website is worthless. If you accepted that the review was genuine after you investigated the last bogus report then the report button should be removed ! You've accepted the review is genuine, there should be NO REASON TO BLOCK IT AGAIN ! TOTAL WASTE OF TIME !
