I have now used Amazon for some years, they always seem to have what your looking for at exceptional prices, I have bought a number of items recently which were upto a third cheaper than in store! they are always despatched quickly and well packaged no more need to push and shove at the shops!!

Currys

Too Big to care, and Right doesnt know about Left!!!

i have used Currys for a number of years particularly the Megastore in Leicester, however in recent months I have experienced a different side to their trading behaviour, youll be alright until something goes wrong!!! I had been caught out having bought a pair of Dr Beats Studio headphones that were Fake, so went to Currys to purchase an original pair, once home i tried to register them but there was no serial number as per the fakes, i returned them to store some half hour away from home where i waited an hour at the customer service desk to be told that these were not originals but copies despite the fact i had my receipt!!! I have since had numerous telephone calls with both currys and the manufacturer and some two months later this has been resolved.

I now have a problem with a dishwasher also purchased by them in October 2011 which has develped a fault, i have unfortunately misplaced the receipt but called customer services who said that this was not a problem as they could see from the system when this was purchased and put me through to book an engineer visit!, at this point i was then told that without a copy of the receipt to show the engineer they could not arrange this!!!

I have also bought a separate fridge and freezer of which the fridge was in stock but the freezer was not, and was given a scale charge for delivery accepting the 3 week slot as this was free instead of £20 something for express, however the freezer came into stock on the friday and i was texted to say it would be delivered two days later at NO cost!!!

UK Automation - Home Automation superstore

Excellent online purchase

I had hunted high and low on the internet for an illuminated light switch, when i came across UK Automation. Better than what i wanted at a very reasonable price despatched quickly with easy intructions, only negative point is that the connection wires are very small and light weight and when fixing with existing electrical wiring can break just need to be careful, any way no more tripping over things in the garage to get to the switch!!!
