I have used Healthspan for many years and have wholeheartedly recommended them to friends and family. I placed a regular order with them on the 1st of April. On placing the order online, up comes a £1.95 postage charge. Something I wasnt informed about, very sneaky! Oh well, I thought, they are a reputable company and I have not had any problems with them before, so I paid it. A whopping £1.95. Lo and behold I've still not received my order (today being the 13th April). I called Healthspan 2 days ago and queried it, call centre person said ' Oh, I don't understand why it hasn't been sent, can you hold while I check with my supervisor' (sound familiar guys?) They get back to me and tell me they have moved their distribution centre to Europe (I live in Europe btw! UK) and they are 'playing catch me up' Their words not mine. So, previously, no postage charges I received the orders within 3 - 4 days. Pay £1.95 and you don't get it at all! There is a great similarity here with other dodgy websites, you place an order, the money is taken out of your account (in my case, debit card it,was taken out within 24 hrs) Also they cant tell me when I will receive my order. Meanwhile they earn interest off your money while it is in their offshore accounts, the longer they can hold on to it before sending goods to you. I'm very disappointed in you Mr Coates, I'm guessing you've sold the company. So BEWARE PENSIONERS AND PEOPLE avoid Healthspan if you don't want to be ripped off.

We are collecting a £1.95 postage charge- your order benefited from a £2 discount which will have kept the overall total down to just the cost of the products.
Our customer service team have emailed you directly to confirm despatch of your order and apologise for the delay- our new distribution centre has taken a small amount of time to get up to full speed.
Finally, please rest assured that Mr Coates still owns Healthspan and that, like most major online retailers (Amazon, Tesco, ASOS) , we charge for products at the point of ordering, not a point of despatch. We have no intention to deceive our customers or find ways to generate interest on their money by delaying the despatch of their orders.
