I am really impressed by the service and care I've received from The Telephone Store.
We had an issue with one of the items I ordered so I called The Telephone Store to explain. John arranged for a replacement item to be sent which we received next day and there was no messing around with having to arrange return of the faulty item. It really makes a refreshing change, some companies do value their customers and the service they provide. Well done and Thanks again John.
We've been customers of John Lewis for many years and have made many various purchases over the years. Our last order went drastically wrong, (purchased over the phone) we waited in all day for delivery that was advised by John Lewis and the reason it didn't turn up and we didn't get a call to say that it wasn't going to be delivered that day was because a part was missing, so someone just put the order to one side and didn't tell anyone! For two days I tried to find out what was going on and where my purchase costing £700 had gone and when we would receive it, I never received a call from JL I made the phone calls and no one seemed to have any answers, until they eventually advised the item was now out of stock and I could only have a shop floor display model. Furthermore, when you call your store number it goes to a call centre and they pretend you are speaking direct to the store, when I asked to speak to the store manager, because I wasn't getting anywhere, they admitted I was speaking to a call centre and that I was not allowed to speak to anyone at the store because they do not receive incoming calls, which later turned out to be a lie! Please bring back the old John Lewis shopping experience where customers matter and you feel like you are valued. Its such a shame!!!
