I don't know exactly what you are refering to and where you have experienced fake reviews, but at Trustpilot it's of high importance to ensure high quality on the site. We have lots of automated processes in place to catch fraud, so our team of community supporters will get alerted and take the needed actions if we find suspicious looking reviews.
No company can pay to get a review removed. But any company - or user - can report a review if it looks suspicous and they are in doubt that it's written by a real customer. As a company you don't need to be have a contract with us in order to do so. We look into all reported reviews and contact the reviewer if needed.
