It is virtually impossible to get the flight you want, even booking 10 months in advance, with the BA frequent flyer miles. I have now switched to Virgin for my US and Asia business flights purely for this reason.
And the credit card (black) gives good miles and is easy to manage online. Shame AMEX simply isn't accepted very often!
Never answer their phones or emails and when you do eventually get through to them, they treat you with disdain. Horrible experience. You get the feeling that they hate their own customers. Bizarre.
